First, welcome to tPF!

I'll give the Usual Warning before we start. Many of us are NOT fans of Poshmark, because of their horrible record in handling fakes. Either they refuse to remove even obvious fakes when reported, or they fight tooth and nail against refunding the money of those unlucky enough to have bought them. And there have also been several reports of them doing just the opposite and removing Coaches as fake that we confirmed as absolutely genuine. Whoever is doing their "authenticating" is doing a terrible job. Never buy a highly faked brand from Poshmark unless you have it authenticated here first.
Just so you know.

As for the bags:
1- genuine, I own exactly the same bag. It's a Soho Pleated Optic Linen Buckle Flap made in 2011

2- genuine, from 2007, also from the Soho line but I don't know the exact name

3- genuine Legacy Soft Leather Duffle from 2005.

The listing is unusually bad even for Goodwill. No readable creed photo, The style number is barely legible but not the rest of the creed, and the description says
"CONDITION: Pre-owned
Overall wrinkling, fraying, stretching, scuffing, and some slight stitch seperation at seams, Zipper is stiff....
Sold AS IS"

But no photos of the damaged areas. It's hard to believe they're talking about the same bag. It's genuine but if the description is accurate the buyer needs to accept that it's "as is" and cross their fingers on the VERY slim hope that maybe the description was copied from another listing since the only zipper on or in the bag is the one on the inside pocket, and shown as only zipped part of the way across.

It's a 12797 Bleecker Street Suede Haversack.
I had requested a better copy of the Creed photo and got it today.

I saw this and thought it was interesting. Let me know what you think about it's authenticity. Thank you.

Although she commented on the lack of a good creed picture, Hyacinth was able to authentic and ID the bag.

The more serious issue is that the pictures aren't showing the damage and issues that are described: "Overall wrinkling, fraying, stretching, scuffing, and some slight stitch seperation at seams, Zipper is stiff."

And will they hold the buyer to the "***Condition Disclaimer*** SOLD AS IS" if they aren't showing the buyer an accurate picture of the condition?

The bag IS authentic.

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to get my hands on a Coach mini belt bag from the 90s and was hoping to get an opinion on whether these bags are authentic. I really like the green ones, but I've been referencing the link to the black one since the seller claims to be the original owner. Any input would be great, thanks again!

All 3 are genuine. The black one was made in 1993 or earlier but after 1990. The green ones were made in 1994 and 1995. NOT in the 1980s like the first listing claims.

The seller of the second listing (on ebay) has been discussed here before. She has listed fakes many times.

I looked because I am curious (nosy) and I see that the 'black' bag is actually listed as green on her Pmark page!

Hi, everyone! I’m a newbie to Coach vintage bags and have fell in love with Regina and Willis lately.... unfortunately, my country doesn’t have vintage shops here...

Can someone authenticate this? Is it $179 too much for the bag?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-VINT...rksid=p2349624.m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc

It would be a lot of money even if it was authentic, but it is NOT a genuine Coach! The serial number is completely wrong and would never have been used by Coach. The seller also had a small coin case that we questioned last year.

I hope you didn't already buy it?

I didn’t! Good thing it can’t be shipped to my country... you’re a lifesaver! Where else can I buy a good authentic regina bag in bone? I’ve been eyeing on it [emoji1374] thank you so much!

All I can tell you is to keep looking. The light colors are hard to find and often the genuine ones will have some sort of problem, light colored leathers can be hard to keep clean. Some sellers will even try to cover the damage with cheap paint or even shoe polish.

Willises are also faked very often, always have any "Coach" authenticated before you buy it.
