Hello Authenticators, can I please trouble you to run your expert eyes over a couple of bags I’ve recently bought on ebay?
I have both bags with me and can post more photos if the ones in the ebay listings don't show everything you need to see.

Item 1: Coach Handbag Leather
Listing number: 132995862755
Seller: gmrm4650
Link: eBay listing https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Coach-Handbag-Leather-/132995862755
Comments: Measurements: 5 1/2 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall.

Item 2: Small But Handy Coach Bag With Long Shoulder Strap
Listing number: 323751500132
Seller: samuraidoll
Link: eBay listing https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Small-But-Handy-Coach-Bag-With-Long-Shoulder-Strap/323751500132
Comments: There is no Creed on this little bag, only the silver 'Coach New York' branding on the outside. Inside it has a small semi-transparent “MADE IN CHINA” label sewn into the side seam of the lining (photo below). Lining looks to be plain black cotton. It has a single compartment with one internal slip pocket. No marking on the hardware.
Measurements: 10 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide x 6 inches tall.
(I've not found a similar style with Google so I already have suspicions, although the bag itself looks and feels quite well made).

Thanks in advance
The first was probably made in the very early 70s, possibly a little earlier.
The second is part of the 2012 Legacy collection. I believe it was called a mini satchel. Style #49292.

Thank you whateve! I noticed the second one had similar features to other styles in the Legacy line (Candace, Molly and Mini Rory) but then I hit a wall. Thanks so much, now I can stop googling!

You're welcome! I find the Legacy logo to be distinctive so I can usually identify the collection. After that, it was easy to find it.

Hi there.
Sorry im not here to authenticate item.
But just want to ask opinion on something.
What do you guys think about this? Does it right or wrong indicator to authenticate coach item?

Side by side pictures are sometimes helpful but we need to see what items are being compared. If they aren't apples to apples, the comparison isn't valid. Items have to be exactly the same style.

Please post a link to the source of your comparison.

Also, be aware that there are many "authenticity guides" with really bad information, much of it showing an "authentic" item that isn't even authentic!

I found the source of your images and I don't recommend wondermika's guide because there are errors and misinformation.

I'm not going to take the time to go into detail but much of it is just wrong and will lead to both assuming fakes are genuine as well as alleging authentic items to be fake.

This is NOT a good guide!

ETA: Here's another "guide" with some of the same pictures.

Again, BEWARE!

I bought this coach backpack off of Ebay. I was a little skeptical as it was listed as vintage and rare gray color. The tag seems off to me. The @ with R in it is on the writing as in the photo as well as it being made in the Dominic Republic. Can anyone tell me if this is real??

Post a link to the ebay listing and the seller's name.

Can someone tell me if this coach backpack is real? It seems weird that the @ R is in the lettering also it was made in the DR which I know some bags were but this bag was listed as a "rare gray vintage coach backpack" and I am just not sure if it is real!?????/

We can't authenticate based on a single picture. We need to see the entire item. If the item was bought through a viewable online listing, like ebay, we need a link to the listing and the seller's name. That isn't a @ R you are seeing.
