Thank you and be safe!

I knew I had “seen” this style! But the creed was obviously fake lol

Is there a list of the codes for the factories? I’m trying to absorb as much as I can reading this thread but my goodness there is so much! All of the authenticators personal files and databases must be intense lol
Our files are intense! I don't think there is a published list of codes for factories. The easy ones are A, B, C and D are US. P is Costa Rica, E is Italy. M can be either Costa Rica or US. It starts getting complicated.

I bet they are! Haha! Well that’s a good basic start thank you. I think it was @Hyacinth that recently posted the serial / style number article from eBay recently and I found that so interesting to read. I can totally see how the factories got complicated because all of the changes to the serial numbers were making my head spin [emoji23]

To add more confusion to the mix, there are also some D and M (from 2004) from China. And N is usually Mexico but can be China.

A few authentic examples:

Thank you!

I thought I read somewhere to wait 24-48 hours before asking again, it hasn't *quite* been 48 hours so I apologize if it is too soon.
When I first posted this, I also added a second listing. I realized the other listing had closed, so I came back to delete that one and noticed that my post had been flagged awaiting mod approval. I'm new, so I don't really know why it was flagged. I searched to see if this listing had already been posted, but didn't see anything. Maybe it was that I didn't get the format right or I have posted too much too soon?
I know you are free to ignore and I totally understand. I don't know if it was ignored or maybe while the post was invisible awaiting approval, it just got missed. I wasn't sure where to ask a general question like this. Sorry for my noob confusion, this sight has so much information Im a bit lost. I just discovered the vintage thread only because someone mentioned it in a post, lol.
Thank you for patiently putting up with us new and confused types!

I think your post was missed.

The bag is authentic.

I have no idea why your post would have been flagged. (If you requested to delete a post because more than the timeframe allowed for editing had expired, that may have had something to do with it.)

Comment: Please authenticate. As always, your time and expertise are greatly appreciated!
The bags in that listing are okay but the seller has had fakes in the past (according to my records) and recently sold this listing of a fake:

Phew that's a relief it wasn't something major! The post was pretty new and it allowed me to just delete the second listing.
Thank you for checking out the bag, I really appreciate it!

Seller: anggabus

Comment: The seller messaged me a pic of the creed, which I have attached below, and provided measurements of 12.5" long, 9" high, and 5" wide. I'm thinking it's a Crosby.

Item: Coach leather vintage handbag (hoping for authentic Sonoma Satchel Natural Grain 4921)
Listing number: Not sure where to find this - just listed as Coach leather vintage handbag
Seller: alvarez1335

Comments: I'm not sure what the symbol on the creed means. I've read the guide for product grades and markings and the only thing I could think of is that one letter is an "S" and maybe it means 'ES' employee sale or 'FS' final sale. Concerned if it means anything is flawed or damaged on the bag.

It's fine. I can't really read the stamp on the creed, but it wouldn't worry me.
