That one might need some repairs at the top. The problem with that kind of strap is that depending on how much weight the bag has to carry, that strap design puts extra stress on the edges of the flap right under the strap. I'd also recommend that you ask the seller if the springlock works, she doesn't show it closed in any of the photos (and maybe she could look at the piping on the one you asked about before this one). Ask what she used to condition the bag, the leather is shinier than vintage Coach leather usually is. You don't want something that's been "conditioned" with shoe polish amd you'd be surprised how many sellers will do that, especially with black leather.

I wish she had shown a creed photo but I don't see anything that would make me think it's not authentic. If Whateve is reading, maybe she can make some comments on the condition or anything to watch for that might need some work. I'm not a rehabber so I might worry about things that aren't really problems.

I asked her about the springlock and for a photo of the Creed and am waiting for her to get back to me on that. Thank you, I really appreciate all you guys do especially for the extra input on rehabbing.

I'm sorry but it's fake.

It's a "well-faked" style, in that the fake appears to be correct for the style but compare your bag to this authentic version:

She has added a photo of the creed to the listing and according to her the springlock does work.
It's authentic.
That tear in the piping is caused by the strap rubbing against it. I don't think it would be too hard to glue it back together with leather cement.

I knew I had “seen” this style! But the creed was obviously fake lol

Is there a list of the codes for the factories? I’m trying to absorb as much as I can reading this thread but my goodness there is so much! All of the authenticators personal files and databases must be intense lol
