Could someone please help me with this rogue 30?
I purchased it very recently from poshmark.
Compare it to my other rogue that was released in 2018, there are some differences.

First, there is no “1941 x” stamp underneath the leather piece that the zipper sewn on. (Picture 1 and 2)
Second, the shoulder straps are much much softer than my new rogue straps. (I know that this bag is not new, but can the leather straps getting so worn over the time?)
Third, there isn’t a key ring inside the key fob.
I attached more pictures of other details, please help me to authenticate this purse. Thanks for your time.

View attachment 4321522 View attachment 4321521 Could someone help me with identifying this purse ? I’m not sure how to tell the item # or anything. It was a bargain find.

Identification is easy. It's called "FAKE". Sorry.

There's NOTHING correct about it from the stitching on the leather trim to the fabric pattern to the hangtag to the "Made in Italy" tag (you didn't notice that the paper tag says Made in Italy but the creed patch inside the bag says it was made in China?) to the phony serial number with a style number "6042" that belongs ONLY to this bag:

Get your money back if you can, it's illegal under US Federal law to sell counterfeit items anywhere in the US. And unless you're an experienced and expert Coach buyer, DON'T jump on "bargains" unless you can authenticate them here BEFORE buying.

There are also misspellings in the creed. "Teimmed" instead of trimmed.

I will never understand why buyers don't read the creeds. If there's one thing Coach is consistent about, it's correct spelling, punctuation and descriptions on their creeds. I think we've seen a grand total of one instance back around 2010-2012 of a style bought directly from Coach with either a misspelling or an incorrect year code (something like a "13" code in a bag bought AND posted about in 2012). It's especially incomprehensible in classic and vintage fakes mostly from Korea with creeds that read like the result of a fifth-rate translation program or someone looking up the long words on a Korean-to-English dictionary and then just stringing them together without a clue about what they actually were saying.

Welcome! It is authentic. Coach's measurements are 7 1/2 by 10 1/4 by 5. The 7 1/2 is the length of the bag. On mine, it is about 4 1/2 inches long at the top of the bag when buckled, and about 8 1/2 inches long at the widest part. The 5 is the depth, measured across the bottom, front to back.

Hi, thank you so much for authenticating the bag! I appreciate the measurements as well. I'm not sure how I happened upon vintage Coach bags in the first place but all I know is that it's a rabbit hole.....and I am happily browsing all the potential options for a first purchase.

You're welcome! I fell down that rabbit hole a long time ago! We have a vintage chat thread https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/vintage-coach-photos-chat.857690/

and other threads where you can see a variety of bags.

I don't either. My daughter insisted that her Zoe was made in the US until I showed her the creed.

Note: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread. The moderators reserve the right to remove authentications that do not meet these requirements.

Please follow the following rules:

  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.

    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller:
    Link:
    Comments:

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

  • Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests should be posted in this thread.

Hi I'm new to this and I feel like an idiot but I can't figure out how to post to authenticate a bag. I was in the Coach thread but where on the screen is the option for me to post something?

Hi I'm new to this and I feel like an idiot but I can't figure out how to post to authenticate a bag. I was in the Coach thread but where on the screen is the option for me to post something?

The thread you're reading right now is the Authentication thread, that's why it says "AUTHENTICATE THIS COACH...see first post for format" right at the top in very LARGE letters.

Right underneath the last post in THIS thread, look right underneath this reply after reading it. Start typing underneath the line of formatting commands that start wiyh "B I U ...", right next to your user name.

Read Post number one in this thread and follow the instructions about what photos and details we need, then go to the last post and look for the REPLY box. Click on POST REPLY" when you're finished. Be sure to supply the required details.

The Authenticate thread is one long continuous thread. Don't try to start a new thread.

Good morning. First time here, and I was wondering about this briefcase.

It's genuine, It's hard to tell if it's a Slim Satchel or a Handle Portfolio without measurements.

Just for the record, we DON'T recommend Poshmark, they have a terrible record for refusing to remove fakes from the site and for not refunding the selling price when someone is unfortunate enough to buy one.
