Hi, I would like some advice on this bag in question. I know that it is advised against buying from Poshmark but it seems to be a fair price but I've read in the past that the "Z" plant code is tricky so I would like to be sure beforehand. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Item: Vintage Coach Bucket Bag
Seller: k_connect
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Small-Black-Leather-Vintage-Coach-Bucket-Bag-5c4502d43c98448afb557fad
Comments: According to the seller, the height is 10". But the length (maybe they meant width?) is 7" unbuckled and 9" buckled.
Welcome! It is authentic. Coach's measurements are 7 1/2 by 10 1/4 by 5. The 7 1/2 is the length of the bag. On mine, it is about 4 1/2 inches long at the top of the bag when buckled, and about 8 1/2 inches long at the widest part. The 5 is the depth, measured across the bottom, front to back.

Interesting bag for authentication:

Item: Coach Crossbody Rare Purse Satchel Hardware Tan/Brown City Leatherwear #2640

Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Cros...e:g:CqwAAOSw1uVb3bPV:rk:5:pf:1&frcectupt=true

Comments: Interesting bag - looks similar to the Spectator line, but has mahogany piping and was made in NYC.

It's a genuine Companion Bag style 9300 from around 1986-87. It may be a factory color combination I haven't seen before. Another possibility is that Coach may have repaired some damaged piping and used a contrasting color since a replacement in the original color wouldn't have matched the main leather color. I had a Station Bag that was repaired that way, an original BT bag's piping and trim was replaced with black by Coach's repair service. The hangtag is a more recent replacement.

Hi, I moved house this past summer and just found two bags that I have no record of having authenticated. I'm hoping they are not big fakers as I purchased them long ago... Here is the first guy:

Item: navy court bag 9870
Listing/seller/link: in my possession, from ebay originally ( link no longer available).

Bag is about 9.5" wide and 8" tall if it is sitting flat, with handle straightened.

It's fine.
