Comments: Looking at the creed, I may have made an error with this purchase. Thanks for your help with this bag. I’ll just return it, if it’s fake. Thanks so much.

It's fine.
I don't see a problem with the creed. I don't recognize the style and have no information about it in my files. If anyone does, I'd love to know.

Hello update on update. I went to eBay after I posted a reply & the listing is gone. I didn’t do it but It’s done. Thanks again RomeyBeano ( on the wallet & rainbow box)
I think the listing was reported and ebay did the right thing.

YOu can still contact the seller and demand a refund. If the seller doesn't agree, go to paypal and file SNAD.

I believe it's hard to contact the seller once the listing has been removed. Call ebay and tell them it was removed for being fake and you want your money back. If you go through paypal, you won't get your shipping costs back.

According to @Hyacinth's post here, it's a mail pouch.

Thanks so much. I was reading somewhere with creed pictures, that the “Made in the United States” was removed from the bottom of the creed in 1994. I probably read it wrong. Thanks for clearing up my confusion. I really appreciate all of you ladies help [emoji16]

Yes, you read it wrong. It was gradually done away with as they got new creed stamps to the factories. That took a few years. When you get it, I'd like to hear what you think of the style. It looks interesting.

Please read and remember where to find the link to the SaleArea Guides that's pinned to the top of the Coach Shopping index page, the Guides themselves begin with post number 14.
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/

The two sets of Guides on Creed Stamps and on Coach serial numbers are the most correct information on the subject, but the best thing to do is to read the entire set of guides. There's a lot of information there and I just upodated them earlier this year. The one on Creed stamps says:
"Starting in 1994, the creed and serial number formats went through a major change. The country of manufacture was now stated in the second sentence of the creed, although the change was stretched out over about 18 months so some older or smaller plants would still be using the old format with the plant location at the bottom of the creed statement until some time in 1996..."

Almost all of the other so-called Authenticity Guides or Coach Buying Guides that you'll find on the internet are partly or mostly wrong and shouldn't be depended on. The Authenticity Guides section of the Salearea Guides explains why.

Hi everyone!

I found two pieces of Coach luggage at a thrift store, but couldn't find the same ones online. They feel well made, but I guess good counterfeit items would too? The price was so low I decided to buy anyway ($14.99 and $6.99).

I would love if someone could please help authenticate.
Thank you so much!

Nice finds. Both are authentic from 2000. (Don't you love it when Savers thinks genuine items are fake? I hate that they think nothing of selling fakes while stating that they "aren't selling as authentic" but I've found so many treasures that they don't recognize as such!)
