I totally overlooked that slot! Thanks! I've seen larger logos on fakes but without the comparison, it is hard to tell. After I found the comparison listing, it was easy to see. Since it is the seller's own listing and she listed one right after the other, she should have seen the differences and realized something was off.
Yup, a bigger giveaway than the logo is that slot!

Please refer to post 1, page 1 for the information we need for authentications.

In this case, it's particularly important to see the site and seller where it's listed (or was listed) as I suspect it might be listed in the Philippines. (If so, we'll go into that later.)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas eating for 2x people . I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it, but do you guys know what the names of these bags are?

I'm asking for better creed photos but I doubt I'll get them, so I'm not asking for authentication here.
This is the thread for authentication and this is the thread for identifying items that are known to be authentic.

If you don't know authenticity, this is the FIRST place to post. And the only items that are identified with names are authentic ones. (We don't give fakes names since they weren't made by Coach and are not whatever style they are trying to be.)

The first 2 bags (brown) are authentic based on what I can see but the third (black) has a creed and font that can't be read.) When you have better creed photos, please return and post the pics.

Several things to keep in mind -

the serial numbers of bags made since 1994 usually include the style number, which helps us and is sometimes the ONLY way to accurately identify a Coach bag. We also need accurate measurements any time there's no visible style number and when Coach has made similar styles in different sizes, which is the case here.
and
if a "Coach" bag ISN'T authentic, it doesn't have a name because it's not a Coach. First it's authenticated, THEN it's identified

The black one can't be ID'd or authenticated without better photos and measurements but looks like some kind of Ergo, the tan one with the round top looks like a Carousel Bag, and the other tan one may be a Chauncey Bag.

Thanks for ID-ing, I'll report back when I have more info.

Aloha! Would someone please authenticate this for me? This was given as a gift (bag and wallet). I know nothing at all about designer bags.

I don't think littlemissmuffet808 knowingly sells fakes nor does she make too many errors but I believe there have been a few/couple over the years.

I don't think it's authentic either.

In addition to the differences you've noted is one that I've only seen on fakes. The Coach logo is larger than it should be. Compare the following.

Also, have you ever seen that checkbook slot on the left (see arrow):
View attachment 4289431 View attachment 4289432

With all the womens' Coach wallets I've ever seen, there haven't been any I can remember that only had a single pocket for the checkbook and where they would include a slot for side-bound checks. There would be no place for the check register, which is usually separate unless you use the "carbon copy" type all-in-one checks. The only pieces I've seen made to hold either top or side-bound have always been the removeable checkbook holders, and instead of having the cheap cut-through slot like the curved slot in this one Coach would actually make a pocket with a reinforced straight-across edge for the side-bound checks. This probably fake reminds me of the Foach wallets we see with those always-fake cut-through slots instead of actual sewn-in pockets for credit cards. I've just gone through all my 1980s thru mid-1990s catalogs and can't find any other wallets with those construction details. Hope all of that makes sense.

What's surprising is that is it has a Fiocchi snap, since Coach used those too.

The probable navy blue fake looks like it's been removed by Ebay but it's still listed in her Etsy store. I hope she'll remove it when she sees the Ebay listing has been deleted.

Made In India?

They both look good to me, made in 2011. And yes, Coach has made bags and accessories in India, as well as at least ten other countries. The only "Made in ..." stamp that's a red flag is a Made In Korea stamp in any kind of "Coach" handbag, wallet or briefcase, although we have seen a few apparently genuine Korean-made Coach clothing items and even what may have been a sample suitcase. Anything marked as made in Korea should ALWAYS be authenticated here before buying.

Hello Thanks for the update on the fake “rainbow” box. The auction was over a couple of weeks ago & was supposed to be a gift. I will file a dispute with EBay. I have not removed this listing yet so it’s still on completed sales. Thanks again RomeyBeano
