Accessories are the hardest things to identify and often aren't in our catalogs.

Coach used a variety of hardware so details like patent numbers aren't any help. They also produced hundreds of different accessories in the 80s and 90s.

The piping has holes in it, you might want to look for one in better condition. AND ONE THAT'S GENUINE - THAT ONE ISN'T. The serial font isn't right for a D plant bag. And the strap grommets are silver.

Just another comment on the seller, dewdoggie.

I can't recommend this seller because in addition to the fake bag (9085 wannabe) you asked about, dewdoggie has another fake with a J8Y (always fake) serial number.

I don't know if your question was answered since there are a ton of posts and I haven't been on for a few days. It is from the 90s as you suspected. It is part of the Carriage Classics collection from around 1992. The earlier produced items in this collection had the sticker; later items had the same information on the stamp. Your coin purse was called the Hamilton mini purse, style #7237.

It's authentic. The leather is vachetta.

There have been fake bags with fake bullet stamps. I haven't seen any fakes with Xs but I imagine that they're not hard to fake.
