We really need to see photos. Check the FAQs section for information on posting images and photos. Sometimes the ONLY thing we have to go by is one tiny photo of one side of an accessory in a small catalog so we need to see images that might look something like the catalog photo, and even then we may not be able to find them. Accessories are the hardest things to identify and often aren't in our catalogs.

Coach used a variety of hardware so details like patent numbers aren't any help. They also produced hundreds of different accessories in the 80s and 90s.

Thank you, the pictures are a HUGE help. If it looks like the accessory in the photo below and the description and measurements match, it was called a Hamilton Mini Purse, style 7327 from around 1992. (For future requests, please post measurements too.)

Thank you SO much!! I will be sure to post all the necessary details next time! I'm sorry, it was my first time here :shame:

Item: COACH vintage bucket bag black leather 9085
Listing number: 321696687398
Seller: dewdoggie
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/321696687398?roken=cUgayN&soutkn=O4h41k
Comments: I've fallen in love with my late mom's british tan 9085. Hoping to snag this one to switch up. Definitely looking for something darker. Looks rough though I think I can clean it up.

If not, this should:

The piping has holes in it, you might want to look for one in better condition. AND ONE THAT'S GENUINE - THAT ONE ISN'T. The serial font isn't right for a D plant bag. And the strap grommets are silver.

Here's a GENUINE H4D- serial stamp:

Seller dewdoggie
Please wait for Hyacinth or Whateve on this one but this is my observation:
I don't believe it's authentic.

The creed font and text don't match other bags from the same month/year/plant.

Compare:
dewdoggie 's creed:

VS this:

And the listing you posted has the same font, same serial number and the bag shown below is NOT style 9085. This one is fake:

HOW DID I DO, Hyacinth?!?!?!

Just another comment on the seller, dewdoggie.

I can't recommend this seller because in addition to the fake bag (9085 wannabe) you asked about,
dewdoggie has another fake with a J8Y (always fake) serial number.

Hmm. I wonder if she knows the bucket is fake. It was previously sold on Feb. 18:
coach bucket duffle bag x-large 9085 distressed

It's a genuine Bleecker Bucket made in 2000

So I lost on this one that you authenticated, but there was another listed that was due to end minutes after the other one; consequently, I didn't have time to authenticate it before bidding. Could you please do so now? I'm hoping it's genuine as well as I've already won it.

Comments: The other one was made in Costa Rica and this one is made in the United States?

It looks ok.

Wow, thanks for sharing that information Whatever! I had no idea that the newer bags were brighter! In the case of the bag posted by thecollector629, I had just assumed that she had used some product on it to enhance the color of the bag.
You're welcome! Attached is a picture of two NYC burgundy bags. The top one has never been used. The bottom one shows how the color lightened with use.

Could someone please authenticate this MFF Coach bag?
Approx. 11.5"w x 9"h x 5.5"d. Strap 8" to rings.
There's one on ebay called an Optic Signature Sarah, #F13120, yes?
Thanks in advance, as always! ...she's off to her bubble bath :)
Just confirming, I remember this style being called Sarah.

Hi, I have a few Coach items that I've owned for many years, and there's one that I need some information on. I know that all of the items I purchased are authentic, because I bought them at a small Coach store, but this particular accessory was a gift. I would really like to know the style name and number, as well.

I believe it dates to the early nineties, and was most likely purchased prior to 1995. It is a small, black wallet or change purse, rounded with a flap and tab closure, a zippered center, and two small compartments. It has few identifying features. It has a brass magnetic closure, and there is a sticker inside that reads "U.S. PAT 4021891 MAGNETIC SNAP 62670650." It is stamped "COACH" right under the flap, and the zipper is stamped "ECLAIR." I would like to attach a few pictures, but I'm not sure how.

If anyone has any information about my vintage 90s piece, I would really appreciate the assistance. Thank you so much!!
I don't know if your question was answered since there are a ton of posts and I haven't been on for a few days. It is from the 90s as you suspected. It is part of the Carriage Classics collection from around 1992. The earlier produced items in this collection had the sticker; later items had the same information on the stamp. Your coin purse was called the Hamilton mini purse, style #7237.

This is my first Goodwill (hopefully) authentic Coach purchase. I apologize if the format is incorrect.

Interior hardware (was there originally something that was supposed to be attached to the d-ring?):

Creed:

Please let me know if any more photos are required. Thank y'all so much! I really appreciate what you ladies do here.

Edit to add: Is the leather trim vachetta, or just very light colored? Thanks!
Edit #2: Do fakes often include bullseye outlet or "X" final sale stamps?

It's authentic. The leather is vachetta.

There have been fake bags with fake bullet stamps. I haven't seen any fakes with Xs but I imagine that they're not hard to fake.
