The bag is fake.

Please post a link to the listing from which you purchased. (See post 1, page 1 for the information we need for authentications.

ETA: BTW, it doesn't matter whether the seller described the bag specifically using "authentic" or not. Fakes are illegal and can't be sold so if an item has a brand name marking, it MUST be authentic, whether described as such or not.

I don't know how to search for sold items on Etsy and can't find the listing.

Hello, I have been advised from other users on this site to have my purchase authenticated.

This was bought from Etsy from someone who said they owned it for 20 plus years.

Measurements: body of bag is 8" tall, with handles upright 14", 11" long. Depth varies depending on what's in it but starts at 3 1/2".
Obviously pre Creed, told it is Cashin designed, 60's bag. I have searched and searched and searched and only found one image of a similar style- no info or anything, just an image. Please tell me this is real!

It looks good to me. Maybe Whateve has a name for it, or you can try the Vintage Chat board.

Nice find. Authentic. The lining makes me believe it is a bag Bonnie Cashin made for Coach.

Hi Coach experts.. I have one bag I really wanted and it would be my first coach if I press “buy” button. I really appreciate if you help me authenticate this..

Item: Coach Legacy Zip C8G-9966
Listing number: 183351557738
Seller: shiggy55 (ebay)
Link:
https://www.ebay.com/i/183351557738

Comments:

Vintage legacy zip in british tan.. just exactly I have been eyeing for the last couple of months.. the code 9966 is right for Legacy Zip.

But still I have doubts, the letter stamping is so neat, while I thought it would be a bit rough.. and the first three digit, I am not sure whether it is correct.

I put two images of the facade and the stamp..

Crossed my fingers that it would be authentic.. Thank you very much before.

BTW, this is the only other image I found. What I wouldn't do for this purse!

It's authentic. Most stamping on 90s bags is very neat. It is still important to get authenticated.

It's authentic.

Please refer to post 1, page 1 for the format and info we need. It's confusing because when I go to the page with the listing you asked about, the top of the page shows, "The selected item is no longer available" but there's no redirect to another listing.

If you put the seller ID, shiggy55 , we'll know we're looking at the right listing.

Very confusing! The item I looked at has the same creed picture but the listing number is 183351557738, not 183309281457, which the link pointed to.

Thank you Been burned. I have revised my earlier post as I read the rule (post #1) after I posted mine. Yes the seller ID is shiggy55. I think I gave the previous link as there is new listing link
