  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Comments: I’m pretty sure that this is fake. I’m actually hoping it is fake because a lot of bling has been added and it looks terrible! She doesn't claim that it is a Coach she says "The Style reminds me of a vintage Coach bag from the days of Bonnie Cashin" and included a tiny picture of the creed.

Made in Korea - definitely fake.

I don't believe it is reportable as it doesn't say Coach anywhere and she isn't claiming it is a Coach.

In my experience, Etsy doesn't remove fakes or respond to reports anyway.

It is fake. There is a frame around the number that shouldn't be there. The Z plant code was used for the Dominican Republic, not the US. The font is too thick. The zipper pull looks wrong. Insist the seller pays for shipping both ways when you return.

Does this mean all bags with Z plant codes that say made in the US are fake? Or is it the same as the plant L codes with date restrictions?

They're all genuine. The ones with stamped creeds weren't made in the "Cashin Era" though.

The second one (seller college-therapy-fund) does appear to be the smaller version of the Courier.

The difference between the interior and exterior colors could be due to lighting, exposure, products that may have been used on the exterior, etc.

The inked number on the back side of the leather was probably stamped by the leather supplier. I've usually found them inside of pockets where they don't show unless you look for them.

(The third listing by seller thrifted.life has a picture of the two Courier sizes side by side.)
