Very confusing! The item I looked at has the same creed picture but the listing number is 183351557738, not 183309281457, which the link pointed to.

Thank you Been burned. I have revised my earlier post as I read the rule (post #1) after I posted mine. Yes the seller ID is shiggy55. I think I gave the previous link as there is new listing link

https://www.ebay.com/i/183351557738

I’ll update my earlier post. Thanks for the authentication and the correction.

Hi whateve, the new updated listing number is 183351557738. The latter one is ending post. I must have been incorrectly put the expired listing, but I have revised in my earlier post. Thank you.
In this case, it was the same seller's item that ebay pointed us to but there are cases where ebay decides that a "similar" item I might be interested in isn't even the same brand, color or style!

The bag is fake.

Please post a link to the listing from which you purchased. (See post 1, page 1 for the information we need for authentications.

ETA: BTW, it doesn't matter whether the seller described the bag specifically using "authentic" or not. Fakes are illegal and can't be sold so if an item has a brand name marking, it MUST be authentic, whether described as such or not.

I don't know how to search for sold items on Etsy and can't find the listing.

Thanks for your quick reply, BeenBurned. I didn't post the listing originally like I should have, because I am in dispute with the seller, but wanted to post a neutral request for authentication. Sorry about that.

Here is the additional info:

Listing number: no listing number I can find, keywords/title were:
80s Lilac Coach Ergo Hobo Leather Purse/ Purple Coach
(Knew it wasn't 80s, but sellers sometimes make those kinds of mistakes so I let that ride).

Etsy link: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/601...rgo-hobo-leather-purse?show_sold_out_detail=1

Seller: SmokeyPearlVintage
She doesn't appear to have an ebay account.

Comments: I see your point about the wording of the listing. Seller didn't specifically use the word "authentic," but yes, I definitely took her using "Coach" as an assertion that the bag was real. She also listed the stiff, fabric-backed PU material as leather. And yet in all my life I've never seen a cow with a woven hide. Funny, that.

Refer SmokeyPearlVintage here if she gives you a hard time.

Ok, here is one I am not even going to guess about, but I have my suspicions. Never seen this bag in white or for this particular retailer.

It looks good to me.

It's a really old bag (pre-creed) and I'm guessing it's an out-of-business store.

For future requests, please refer to post 1, page 1 for the information and format we need for authetnications.
