Thank you and be safe!

Thank you so much for all this information I truly appreciate it. I will place the pic with a better look at creed. Also, what if they state that they refurbished or cleaned it..can you do that?
If a seller says an item has been refurbished or cleaned, I would ask what they used on it. Some sellers use products that make the item worse, not better. I wouldn't want to buy a bag that had been treated with shoe polish. It is nearly impossible to get off.

Just making sure, kinda bought it thinking its fine because its older. Then I read in the salearea, coach bags were faked for a long time, so I got to thinking. Plus I never really saw this style before. Late night shopping at its finest.

Thats a great idea. I wonder why I didn't think of that..lol.
Both seem ok but the second one needs a better photo of the creed patch and serial number. That's isially the single most important detail needed to authenticate a Coach.

And don't be taken in by any site's claims that they "authenticate" beforehand. Most DON'T, and a few may look up the style number to see if it matches the pictures of similar styles, but that's all. None of them that I've seen actually examines the details of the items like we do and compares them carefully to photos of genuine bags. And none of them seem to have experts who specialize in most highly-faked brands.

And many sites like Poshmark, Listia, Facebook, Etsy and others have NO experts who can tell real from fake, and a buyer who ends up with a fake from one of those sites can easily get stuck with it because they seldom if ever refund money spent on fake items. They avoid paying out because most of them demand that a fake be verified by the manufacturer, and designer manufacturers simply don't do that, they don't have time to waste on free authentication or enough qualified experts to handle the volume of requests they would be getting. Their mantra is "buy directly from us, the manufacturer's store or site if you want a genuine item, we're not responsible for non-authorized merchandise". And those selling sites or "venues" won't even remove a questionable item when an actual expert reveals detail by detail why it's fake. As much as it pains me to say it, Ebay is still one of the safest sites to buy from along with Bonanza (who actually REMOVES fakes when reported).

This is a better picture of the creed

It's a genuine Gallery Bag, style 4028 from the Lightweight Collection and made in or around 1992.

Hello, I recently found, aat an estate sale, what appears to be a Coach Taft Bag. It looks Authentic It's great quality but the style # is wrong. #J4C-9951. Since it's a 1994 bag is there a possibility the stamps could have gotten mixed up? I know it sounds pretty far fetched to me too.. Lol.
