Out of curiosity I looked for a cached version of the fake "Prada" from seller ARIC4430 - what a total POS !!! It's amazing that someone even paid $64 for it. I wonder if the Feedback the scammed buyer of that bag left was already posted when ANGELACOLUMBIA bought that mistreated Coach. That alone would have made me hit the BACK button.

Gotta love the "PRADA" label on the inside, and the crooked plaque on the front. How could anyone actually think this was genuine??? Just what you expect from a company whose leather bags often cost 4 figures. In DOLLARS, not lire.

No, that negative feedback for the Prada bag hadn’t been left yet. Seller hasn’t gotten back to me about the waxy bag, either.

Hi there, newbie here. May I please request an authentication on a bag currently selling on eBay? It looks like a genuine 1999 Legacy Zip to me and I love this color. Thank you in advance for the help!

Thank you again! I am studying this forum and many of the articles I can find online to learn how to better recognize fake bags but I have too much to learn before the end of this auction.

Welcome!

The bag is authentic. But please wait for others' opinions to comment on whether they think it appears to have been polished or treated.

It doesn't appear to have polish on it, but you could ask the seller if any products were used just to be sure.

If you get it, visit our rehab club to see how to make it look like new. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/

Thank you! I have asked the seller, I'm waiting for a response. Thank you for the link to the rehab club, I can't wait to check it out. This is such a great forum! I just discovered it a few days ago and have been enjoying reading all the posts.

On the back of the bag, it looks like something was pushed into the leather and made two dents. Will these relax back out if I give it a bath? If not, it really won't bother me since they are tiny and on the back.
It's fine. I haven't had good luck getting dents to relax but they might get somewhat better when the leather plumps with the bath.

Hello I bought this bag and got it and it has no serial number anywhere. It just has a made in Philippines tag. I’m convinced it’s fake but seller said she bought at Coach store. Is this a fake? Thank you!

While I consider Poshmark to be a landmine of fakes and I generally don't recommend nor authenticate listings from the site, this is a case where I'll make an exception.

1. I wish buyers would verify their concerns before accusing a seller of listing fakes. (I'm not just referring to you, but other buyers have done the same, often alleging a fake when the item is authentic.)
2. The pictures in the listing aren't adequate to prove authenticity. Although inadequate, there aren't any red flags.
3. You asked the seller for a receipt, presumably as proof of authenticity. You should be aware that receipts don't prove anything since they can both be faked and/or genuine receipts can be used to "prove" authenticity of fakes. It's the details of the bag itself that determine authenticity.

Since you have the bag in your possession, I'll request a couple more pictures from you. Please post pictures of both sides of the "made in" tag sewn inside the bag into a lining seam.

Also, there should be a white label inside the bag. You may need to feel around inside the bottom of the zipper pocket, possibly turning the pocket inside out to read and photograph it. Please post a picture of the white tag with 2 rows of letters and numbers.

If there are other areas of concern surrounding the bag, please post pictures of those details.

DON'T leave any Feedback until the situation is resolved, and I strongly recommend that you ask BeenBurned for suggestions and follow her advice, she's helped more tPF members than I can count to deal with problem sellers. And from the nasty coating on your bag to the screamingly obvious fake "Prada" s/he stuck another buyer with, " aric4430 " DEFINITELY fits my definition of a Problem Seller.

Good luck!

I’ve never had a problem with Poshmark I’ve bought and sold more than a few bags and they were all authentic. I consider myself pretty good at spotting fakes so this one threw me. I have a closet full of bags many Coach and this one just didn’t feel right. Here are the pics
