Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Just picked up a cute coach bag. It seems authentic to me but wanted to ask here to be sure. Serial no. E063-10133
Pebbles brown leather with lavender lining and stitching.

There is no number on the tag on the inside of the bag. Also, no white tag behind the "made in" label. I have four other Coach bags and all have those markers. Stitching looks even, leather is nice, so still hopeful but not sure! Thanks!

The bag is absolutely authentic and exactly what that bag, made in 2014 should look like.

There IS a white tag with "production numbers" that match what would be on the creed if Coach hadn't proceeded in its inconsistent and illogical way and removed serials from creeds and put them on white labels.
And this is the white tag -- SHOWN in the listing:


But beware! They only did that for a short amount of time after which serial numbers went back on creeds for some items and other creeds have "mean-nothing" serial numbers.

When making comparisons of your bag to others, you MUST compare identical items made at the same time and in the same plant.

OT but this is appropriate based on your weather comments. (I'm not sure where you are, @catthecurious but it must be in my general area. In the Boston area and we've been slammed with weather this month too.)

Please read Post number One in this thread if you want authentications. We need a full set of photos. Right now it just sounds like a guessing game and that's NOT what we do here.

But just to hopefully eliminate any potential games, the Q plant wasn't opened in China until 2003. Q was never used for any US plant. That's the only feature I need to see.
