Rare Coach Leather Card Case Black Blue
Seller: skydiversandy

https://www.ebay.com/itm/262874102517

Same seller as above

Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the genuine one for comparison. Small items like this are almost impossible to authenticate because there's not much that the fakers can screw up. And they make so many different versions, especially for the outlets, that no one can be expected to keep track of all of them.

I think the slots that LV uses look cheap and it surprises me that a premium designer would do that.
I agree too, it's garbage but had no idea LV used slots. I have never seen an LV of any kind in person that I know of.
I really regret missing out on that Sheridan wallet.
Hesitated, then missed the end of the auction. A black and brown one, near new. These Coach wallets and clutches are very nice.
Thanks again ladies for your help, I'm learning and a bit better (guesser), oh and that treat of the photo of the Korean card insert .

May I get an expert opinion? Not familiar with style (or color for that matter) and I am not seeing the numbers on the lists.
Coach 6003 Vintage Olive Green Leather Shoulder Handbag USA
Seller : kfulf124fd2 (5796 )
eBay item number: 322658207926
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-6003-...207926?hash=item4b1fed88b6:g:KNQAAOSwOAZZidwJ

It's a genuine Chelsea Hobo, but the color is probably Gray with some green overtones. Coach didn't make that style in Olive Green AFAIK.

Item: Coach Madison Multi Color Small Ombre Sabrina Sample Bag #99999
Listing number: 372050538793
Seller: ggerg23

Comments: I have been drooling over this style and color ever since I saw a picture of it online about a year ago. I have really examined the pictures and it looks pretty good to me however, the "sample" status and creed saying "99999" for the style worries me. Everything I have seen says you can't authenticate this because of that fact. I've asked the seller for some more information but haven't received a response yet. TIA.

ETA: Here is the response to my questions about getting a better picture of the front, the size of the bag, and how they know it is authentic.

"HI, THE FIRST GALLERY PIC IS A PIC OF THE FRONT OF THE BAG. THE BAG MEASURES APPROX. 12" WIDE, 7" HIGH AND 4.5" DEEP. I HAVE 4 FAMILY MEMBERS THAT WORK AT COACH IN NEW YORK CITY AND THEY GOT THE BAG FROM WORK SO I KNOW IT IS 100% AUTHENTIC. I AM NOT SURE IF THEY EVEN MADE THIS ONE IN A SMALL VERSION. I KNOW THERE IS THE LARGE ONES BUT NOT SURE ON THE SMALL ONES."

What you have read is true. We can't authenticate bags with a 99999 style number. Calling it a sample bag means that it could be one of a kind so if any details are off, they can claim it is because it is a sample. You can't know if the seller actually has family working for Coach and that is where the bag came from. From what I've seen of this seller's listings, her items are usually authentic, but she has listed some vintage fakes in the past, always removing them once she was informed.

Hello! In trouble. Does anyone know if BeenBurned or CatBird9 is around?
I stupidly bid on what I am pretty sure is a fake Dooney,
Put it on over at Authenticate this Dooney, but wonder if anyone is there regularly.

I haven't seen CatBird9 lately. BeenBurned has been checking in nearly daily. I'm curious what they say about that Dooney. I think I have a similar style but I see some slight differences between mine and that one.

I've been putting off having three bags authenticated that have some "red flags," but here goes. I've had them stored away for awhile. They are a backpack, a Sonoma bucket bag, and a Willis. I'll post them separately.

Item: Coach backpack
Location: In my possession
Dimensions: Height - 11", Length - 9", width - 5.5"
Long strap (unbuckled) - 34"
Short strap (unbuckled) - 8"
Comments: The buckles are inscribed "Solid Brass" - I've never seen this on a vintage Coach bag.

Your worries are founded. It is fake. Coach did inscribe "solid brass" on some buckles from the 70s and 80s, not in the 90s. There are issues with the creed too.

ETA: the handle looks very long!
