Can anyone authentic please? I'm a seller on eBay and this listing was removed because it seems to be counterfeit. Thanks

Depending on how the Ebay takedown notice was worded, you might have to get it professionally authenticated before being allowed to relist it. I doubt if our authentication here would be accepted by Ebay, but you could try contacting them. I'd recommend Authenticate4U for Coach products. Wait for BeenBurned to advise, she's the go-to person here in the Coach forum for Ebay problems and takedowns.

The bag is a genuine Coach Poppy Glam Tote, one of many varieties made by Coach - there were a LOT of different styles using that same generic name.

The letter M after the serial number indicates it was made for a specific location or retailer, but we don't have access to the master list of those destination codes. What I've found points to either Macy's or Coach Japan or possibly both since the photos of that style in my files were copied from the Coach Japan site, and other versions of that style that have been listed for sale indicate some were bought at Macy's. The details of the creed and serial number exactly match other photos I have of serial and creed stamps from that plant number 20 located in China during that time period 2011 thru 2012.

I don't see ANY problems with the bag in your photos that would make me think it might be counterfeit. ( I don't know if you made the same mistake in your listing, but your Dropbox photo set title has one extra digit in the serial number you listed. If you did that in your Ebay listing too that might have red-flagged the listing - we HAVE seen Ebay remove genuine items because of seller listing mistakes or typos before. The actual serial number is E1220-18711M, which is valid for that style).

Great! This is 1 of 3 that was deleted. When I called ebay, they told me their verification teams were NEVER wrong. I was worried, I'd been selling fake bags. I had a photo of the creed so, I don't think it was a listing error. I would like to know what I'm doing wrong. I might have to try other ways to sell, if they keep removing my listings. Thanks for all the info. Very Much appreciated!

It is untrue that their verification teams are never wrong! We've seen other cases where authentic items were removed. Maybe there was something wrong with one or both of the other two. Sometimes they will remove all brand listings of a seller if one is fake. Don't try to relist removed items without getting ebay's approval.

"Never wrong" my fat fanny! We've come across almost half a dozen reports at Ebay's own Fashion Discussion group about genuine bags (Coach and others) being removed by Ebay, and several for completely ridiculous and invalid reasons! And if 5 or 6 are complaining and actually know WHERE to go to to complain, there are at least 50 or 60 who found themselves in the same situation and didn't know what to do about it, or even how to find out if their bags were authentic or not. If you have the time to scroll through the last 2 months' posts at the Fashion Forum you can still find the posts, look for post titles about genuine bags removed by Ebay (not all the complainers were right about their bags being authentic, but enough of them were to show that there's a serious problem at Ebay and whoever is in charge of making these decisions is/are complete IDIOTS and have their heads so far up their arses that they can see their tonsils.)

Hello! I have another bag that was offered to me by a seller but she has not put this up yet in any selling sites thus I cannot provide any links. I have asked her for pictures, however. Hope our experts can help me out again in authenticating the bag. I've made it a habit already to not buy with out consulting the forum first. I hope you don't mind me getting too dependent on you. Thank you!!! :) :) :)

Item: Coach shoulder bag
