Hello Ladies, Could you have a look at this bag and let me know if it's authentic? Thank you in advance.

Item: COACH Vintage 1970s Distressed Tan Leather NYC Buckle Saddle Bag Crescent Purse
Listing number: 382182923662
Seller: ucc.vintageclothing-2009
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vinta...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
Comments: Is the leather piece with the snap (over the inside pockets/pouch area) authentic or added later? I haven't seen this before. I think I have the same bag in black and it doesn't have that additional piece. How old is this bag?

Again - thank you so much for your expert help :)

It's authentic. The leather tab and snap are not original and were not added by Coach. The bag is from the mid 70s.

Had you asked prior to purchase, I wouldn't have recommended the seller because none of the pictures in that listing (nor any other of henry1007*'s other current or completed listings) show the seller's own pictures of the actual items nor do the stolen photos include all the details we need to see for the highly and well faked 1941 collection bags.

There should be a white tag with production information and a made in tag sewn into the lining inside the bag. Please post pictures.

I realize that now. Their listings seem sketchy. Here's the attached photos. I'm hoping it's authentic. Came with dust bag as well.

It seems okay.

These bags have been discussed a short while ago on this thread as well as the Funny fake! thread and answers to authenticity questions. Several of the newer styles are scarily well faked and it's really important for sellers to show their own pictures of the bag and to show the right pictures needed for authenticators to authenticate.

You've taken great pictures, but it really shouldn't have been your job to do so had the listing been a well-prepared one.

Item: crossbody
Link: Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/332297712732
Seller: mauricedesignerboutique2016
Creed: L2F-4133
Comment: I think it's fake. Confirm please.

It looks like it says -4183 which isn't any more correct than -4133. The font's fake, and the plant code is invalid for 2002. It looks like it's trying to be a 9022 Metropolis Flap, but the snap-out key fob is in the wrong place too.

Thank you! I thought it looked like the metropolis flap too but I didn't check the measurements after seeing the serial number with that outside rectangle stamped around it.
