Would you tell the seller?
I'll put it this way.

If I were the seller, I would want to know because I'm honest and would want to know if I made a mistake.

However, until several years ago, i used to let sellers know if a bag was fake. In many cases, honest sellers thanked me but too many sellers who knew exactly what trash they were peddling turned on ME because they got "caught." I was accused of trying to sabotage their listings, being the "ebay police," as well as called names that would get me kicked off TPF if I repeated them.

My messages were reported to ebay (by dishonest sellers!) and I got warnings from ebay that the messaging system isn't intended to call out sellers but to use the report button. In fact, they even suspended me for a while. (I can't believe I'm admitting it but yep, they will eventually suspend someone who has no other ulterior motive than to make a safe site.) I did get my membership reinstated and have NEVER informed a seller through a listing that their item is fake. However I do more than my share of reporting and posting on Halls of Shame.

In this case, the item is authentic and IMO, not reportable just because of a fake charm.

Anyone who contacts sellers of fakes should consider my experience before telling them they're breaking the law since many of them know exactly what they're doing.

I've had similar experiences with irate sellers, but not to the point of being suspended, which is why I'm not sure whether I want to contact the seller.

Hello!
Coach purse. Could you kindly authenticate it.
Thank you.

Sorry if I'm doing this wrong... first post for me. Normally I just browse this site, but now I need some help with this one. I won't be upset if it's fake, but I'm scratching my head. I thought this was one of the duffle sacs when I bought it (didn't have a photo of the creed, but I was fairly certain of what it was) but the creed lists completely different style number (Bleeker tote). It looks and feels authentic, but I am unsure about the rivets as they are off center. Help!

Sorry, the creed is hard to photograph...
It's fake.

The plant code, E is supposed to be only used for Italy but your creed says the bag is made in the US. The contradictory code vs. text makes it an easy counterfeit call.

Is there a listing where it was listed? Can you get a refund?

For future requests, please refer to the first post of the thread for the information and posting format we need.

Agreed. Also, wrong style number as you noted (I think they were trying for 9153), and there shouldn't be a "solid brass" stamp on such a recent style.
