I have the same problem with red. My first Coach was red. There's just something about that color I can't resist: red Dakota, Sheridan, Taft, Sonoma, Willis, Patricia's Legacy, Kristin, and a vermillion Park Hobo, plus at least half a dozen various LeSportsacs and Kiplings. It might be time for an intervention. :graucho:

I don't know where the seller found that description that they Copied & Pasted in the "Item Specifics", but it's not for that style. That bag isn't Khaki, suede or canvas. The correct description is farther down the page.

It's genuine, but the long shoulder strap that's supposed to be with it seems to be missing. Finding a replacement to match that color will probably be impossible. The top of the bag is supposed to fold over so it can be carried by the long shoulder strap. I noticed that the seller removed any mention of that longer strap from their description.

Thank you Hyacinth!

Man, I HATE greedy sellers who do that!

There' was a Persimmon Peyton Tote in their listing that obviously came with a strap that's now MIA, it looks like the strap was listed separately for $34.95, over and above the $69.95 for the bag itself. I'd never buy from a seller who does that. The damn strap is half the price of the bag!
Ugh! flew209 not only removed straps and sells them separately but she also sells the paper shopping bags and tissue.
Coach White gift Store Shopping Paper Bag X'Large 18"X7X19" with Coach Tissue

Yup, greedy! This bugs me.

TEN BUCKS? Plus almost another 5 bucks to ship it. Sheesh. It makes me wish we could still report those listings for "encouraging infringement". And I've never been able to figure out why anyone would want - and pay for - a paper shopping bag. The only thing I ever use them for is to store spare hangars.

I'm still shaking my head over the $35 strap for a $70 bag. I guess she figures that when the buyer of the bag realizes the strap is missing, she's got them by the you-know-whats and there's probably nowhere else they can find one.

A lady after my own heart! [emoji3]

You have some VERY nice bags! Is the red one with the big kisslock pocket in the center row a Cashin bag? Me Likee !!!! And I love the Twin Clutch, and the Madison Carlyle... Heck, they're ALL gorgeous.
Yes it is! Thanks! I just have the straps inside the bag. I think it was the dinky tote that started the red madness. I have like 8 or 9 more red ones that are not pictured. :)

Is this legit..
Item: Weston shopper tote
Creed: H7C-9021

The blurry creed pic worries me. There's one detail that could be due to the poor photo. And there aren't any pictures of the other important details of that style that would help either, like the ends of the dowel or the back of the turnlock plate.

It MIGHT just be due to the angle and the lighting, but it almost looks like the digits in the serial prefix are too close together, and the 7 is actually intruding into the space that belongs to the C. Back then the numbers were still stamped with one of those stamps where the numbers could be changed individually and one digit shouldn't occupy the same little square area as another digit. Maybe the picture below from a bag made in the same plant, month and year will explain things better. The Weston 9021 you're asking about is on the botttom, and a genuine Beekman Brief #5266 is on the top.

Again, it may be OK, but I just can't say so for sure from those photos. I'd want to see a better-lit full-on photo of the creed to be sure it was authentic.

More opinions are welcome.

The seller has added a new pic ( last one) for the Weston I was asking about the other day.

That's a great example of why good clear pictures are so important.

I believe it's fine.

I have requested more pics from the seller, but has anyone even heard of these bags? I can't find anything on google image, but am loving that shade of green:

Seller seventiesnut
Please be sure to include the information requested in post #1 for authentication requests.

I discussed this seller privately with someone and I'm not (personally) comfortable with seventiesnut. Although there's no way to prove it one way or another and with certain details in the current listings that worry me, I'm concerned that this seller sells close fakes (at worst) or mixes authentic and fake (at best).

There's no way to authenticate the current listings but there was an obvious fake (since removed) that was listed last week. The bag was a style with lots of buckles and straps, one that is unlike anything Coach made. The creed was a mess, had a made in the United States text and lacked a serial number (though didn't have anything in the pocket either). She claimed it was from a Coach employee and because a sample had no serial number.

BTW, I blew up and saved a couple of pictures creed:
