And this one?
No, this is not a duplicate post...my sister found this one about a half hour after I found mine, but at GW Bargain Barn for $1...mine was $4.99!
Identical measurements, but this one made in India and missing hangtag & loop thingy. Also mine has a pearly finish and the leather has more texture.
Thanks again!DSCF3283.JPGDSCF3284.JPGDSCF3285.JPG

Could someone please authenticate this Coach bag?
From GW...
Approx. 7.5"w x 7.5"h x 1.5"d. Strap 24" to rings.
Found one on ebay called a Campbell Swingpack #F49170. Does this sound right?
And does the little dot after the country or origin denote MFF?
Thanks in advance!View attachment 3466314View attachment 3466316View attachment 3466317
And this MFF Coach bag...from a local thrift a while ago...
Approx. 10"w x 10.5"h x 2"d. Strap 18" to buckles.
A mini-sig Duffle of some sort? #F10944
Thanks, one more time!View attachment 3466329View attachment 3466330View attachment 3466331View attachment 3466332

Both are identical, both are authentic and your guess of the style number sounds right.
And a couple of oversized hangtags...also from GW.
Camel: 3" x 1.5"
Green: 2.5" x 1.25"
Thanks, as always :smile:View attachment 3466324View attachment 3466325

Authentic.
@JOODLZ I'm always amazed by your GW scores! You live in the best area ever!
She sure does! And she's been doing this and studying long enough that she recognizes fakes and doesn't usually get them.

Thanks, BeenBurned and houseof999...yes my GW's are virtual treasure troves of wonderful purses, boots, jewelry and other goodies. Four + years of tPF have given me a fabulous education about various brand-name goods and prepared me well for treasure hunting. Knowledge IS power :)

Reactions: BeenBurned
Did you do what BeenBurned suggested and post your experiences in the Poshmark forum here at tPF? If you haven't, it might be a good idea. Then I'd send that mental midget at Poshmark another email (only AFTER you get a refund from Paypal) with a link to your post, a mention of how many members this forum has who will be able to read it (516,485 registered members as of today, September 14, according to the stats on the main forum.purseblog.com page), and a formal request to close your PM account permanently and a statement that any time, any place, and anywhere you ever see or hear or read about someone who mentions Poshmark, you'll give them a full history of your experience and a warning to avoid dealing with them.

I had a problem with Overstock.com a long time ago, they tried to delay refunding me for a damaged item that I returned and dragged it out until the return window was almost over. So I posted my experience in 2 or 3 shopping forums including FatWallet and sent the links to my posts to Overstock's so-called Customer Service. I had my refund within about 3 days. When fighting fair doesn't work, it's time to fight dirty.
No I haven't posted on the Posh mark forum here yet. I will eventually. I am trying to give them a chance. After my email above I heard back from the manager from the returns department. She wants me to ship the bag to them so they can authenticate it themselves. I don't want to send them the bag without getting it authenticated by someone else first. (ETA: once I send it out I won't have anything but photos of the bag.)

I can't find anything locally. There's ******************, My poupette.com and others. Any recommendation of who to go to?

I personally wouldn't recommend either one. Both have a record of making MAJOR mistakes with Coach authentications, probably because they're reading the same kind of useless and bogus "guides" as the so-called "authenticator" at Poshmark. Several other well-adverised services have the same problem and are just as bad with Coach items. The only service that seems to be accurate with Coach authentications is Authenticate4U. You may want to wait for other suggestions but I would absolutely recommend AGAINST the two you mentioned, and there are plenty of posts here and elsewhere to back me up.

And I would recommend waiting until you hear from Paypal before sending that fake bag anywhere, especially back to Poshmark. If they can't believe the evidence in the photos - and the invalid serial number evidence is as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar and doesn't need any in-person inspection - then they're NEVER going to get it right.

I have to agree with everything hyacinth said. There is a similar post to the following on the coach subforum but I don't know how to find it on my phone.

But this post made on the eBay forum is crystal clear, imo.
