The sides are fine and the bag is authentic (as previously noted).

It's rare that patterns will match perfectly on the sides because of the shape of the bag, the size of the print and the cut. THe alignment is perfect; it's the match that isn't perfect but is fine.

The pattern isn't supposed to line up perfectly at the side seams. Please read the Salearea Guides posted at Ebay for an explanation of what so-called "rules" aren't rules at all, and that's one of them. Pay special attention to the one about the mistakes found in many authenticity guides.

I'm sorry @itscindylou . I won't comment on listings from Poshmark and its sellers for a couple of reasons.

1. I've reported hundreds (probably thousands) of fakes listed there and PM has NEVER removed a single one.
2. I've politely commented on listings for fakes referring the sellers to TPF because the items aren't authentic and sellers were welcome to 2nd or 3rd opinions. I've never seen a seller come here but I can't count the number of sellers who called me "troll," told me to f-off and blocked me from further comments.
3. After the recent discussions about how POshmark handled the very obvious fake that @houseof999 received and denied her claim, I do NOT recommend doing business with them.
4. This is just one of the BS responses from Poshmark:

I can't recommend a site like Poshmark that won't remove listings for obvious fakes and has a "team of experts" who can't recognize such an obvious fake as Houseof000 received.

There are other more reputable sites that do a better job at protecting their members. I suggest buying from them.

Considering your experience with them I completely understand your stance, and I'm truly sorry for the trouble you've had. Luckily, as a Poshmark seller and buyer, I've had only positive experiences, and I intend to continue selling and buying there. I'm not asking for an endorsement of Poshmark as a whole, just authentication on one bag from one seller. Are there any other TPF authenticators willing to authenticate bags from Poshmark?

@BeenBurned, yesterday I tweeted to the founder of PM to look into my order. I don't know if that had anything to do with that tweet but 2 hrs after that the returns department manager emailed and sent a shipping label so they can authenticate the bag in person. I am mailing it out tomorrow. I will update and share the outcome once I hear back.

Needing your expertise again, please kind authenticators.
Item: Vintage Coach Courier?
Size: About 10 x 9 x 5 inches.
Comments: I believe (based on the Coach guides I read according to your suggestions), that it is a pre creed style, may be late 70s? But of course I could be wrong and even the bag be a fake, that's why I need your help. TIA IMG_1994.JPG IMG_1995.JPG IMG_1996.JPG IMG_1997.JPG IMG_1998.JPG IMG_1999.JPG

COACH cartouche imprints (like the one shown in your photo of a #8920 Large Courier Pouch) were commonly employed during the pre-creed era (specifically during the first half of the 1970s in the period after the use of small metal tags was phased out in 1971 or so). I believe that on styles which lacked interior space for the imprint, small riveted on leather COACH were used. Also, FYI: the earliest Large Courier Pouch bags were identified using the small black COACH metal tag.

Back to authenications! Found this in the shop and don't recall its provenance. So a confirm on it's authenticity would be much appreciated prior to my "business manager" finding it and either claiming it for herself, using it for a gift, or finding a caring home for it...

Item: red #9955 Trail Bag (8 x 5-1/4" x 4-1/2", permanent handle + removable adj strap with 23" max drop)

Thanks again for the expert consult.
