So is it over priced considering it's NOT vintage? What did it retail for?
It is worth what you are willing to pay for it. Most Willis bags, vintage or not, sell for more than this on ebay, and this looks like it is in very good condition. In 2000, this style was priced at $268. I don't know if it was priced higher in 2003, when this particular bag was in a store.

I passed on the item. Thank you! IDK.. something about a vintage item in very good condition. I'll keep looking.

Would you be so kind as to authenticate these 3 thrifted goodies, please? Found the first 2 several days apart – they matched in my head at least… Thank you!

Item: Scribble hobo
Seller: Goodwill (in my possession)

The way I understood it, you had clicked on the buy it now button. When you do that, you enter into a contract that you will agree to pay for the item. You shouldn't hit "buy it now" or bid until you are sure you will purchase. The seller has lost exposure of her item to other potential buyers and has to use another of her listings to relist it. If she has already used up all her free listings, she'll have to pay. In my opinion, the only valid reason to back out is that you learned the bag was fake.
