The spacing and centering of the words on creeds has changed and continues to change. The bag looks authentic. Dustbags have also changed throughout the years. I think the bag that originally came with this style would have been the brown flannel with a red drawstring. This looks like a later dustbag from a few years ago. If the seller is like me, bags are put into whatever dustbag is available. I can't keep track of what dustbag came with each bag.

Great! Thank you!

1- genuine, but the seller is either very confused or lying about the date, it WAS made in 1994

2- genuine but the body looks like it's been heavily conditioned or re-dyed or maybe even shoe-polished. The edges are showing much more wear than the rest of the bag - see the color difference? And the outside brass looks well-polished but unless it's a trick of the lighting that makes it look green, the inside pocket zipper might have a case of verdigris

3- Genuine, and it's just called a "Murphy Bag"

BTW, it might be better if you put the links on their own separate lines. Or are you using something other than a full-feature computer? That may be why the links in your post aren't functional.

Ty for your help. Fingers crossed I'm able to get the first one. Love the British tan color.
I posted from my phone so that's probably why the links didn't work. Apologies.

Comment: please tell me if the two Coach items in this lot are authentic
The gray bag looks good.

I'm not familiar with the red-orange (carnelian?) one and don't want to comment because the pattern looks sideways. But I don't know whether that's what it's supposed to look like.

For the record, the Juicy is good.

Thanks BB. Good to know about the Juicy too. I've posted in Fendi and Ferragamo AT too. No one seems to know Bally so I might have to keep it!

Great! Thank you!
You're welcome!
Dang it, didn't win either the Rambler or the Bleecker flap. The hunt continues!
Ah, what a shame! Both looked really nice too. I would have expected the Rambler's Legacy to go higher than $50. Red usually sells well.

I wonder if the red/orange things are Japanese exclusives. They often have freebie Coach items given away in magazines there and they kind of look like that sort of thing. The red one looks like a book cover.

Thanks Whateve, i guess I'll find out when it arrives.

The Coach stamp on the front looks like it came out the same collection as the cosmetic cases 6987 -6989, which were made in 2002 and possibly some time before and after. I found a lipstick case #6910 on the wayback (I didn't save the date!) which doesn't look like it has the imprint but I can see one on the wayback with the imprint on Dec. 22, 2002. The individual link doesn't work so I can't see if it is the same style number. http://wayback.archive.org/web/2002...ail.asp?category_id=73&show_bc=1&showall=true

Thanks for the info, whateve...I have trouble sometimes on my regular computer with the wayback :( But I'll keep trying!

DAMN, Girl, you must be living right! That's almost exactly ONE percent of the original price. I'm going to start having you buy my lottery tickets. :D

LOLOLOL...thanks! It was 50% off day...orig price was only $4.99. Just found her on the wayback...wow, I did do good, huh? Never had much luck at all with lottery tix though :(
Our Salvation Army is all over the place on Coach pricing...right now they have 3 near-perfect vintage bags in the glass case for $150 each...not in my budget, yet once in a while some goodies get through!

Do you know if this bag came with a hangtag, and if so, what color? I didn't see one on the wayback listing.
