Thanks so much for all this info...and authentication. I went looking in my collection for a suitable substitute hangtag...not quite the right one, and I have NO idea where it came from...but it works for me!

Looks just about perfect! No one would know it didn't come with the bag (except me, and I ain't talkin')

They're all genuine, and yes, Coach used all those unusual details including the gray color at one time or another, although most only lasted a few years.

But I think the gray color on the one you asked about is just from the original black having faded. I can't find a record of gray being used for that Binocular Bag style during the 2 or 3 years it was being made. If you're planning on giving that one a bath, the color might darken quite a bit especially after conditioning.

1- Scout Bag # 9890

2- Binocular Bag # 9853

3- Mulberry Bag from the Carriage Classics line, # 9899

All of them are from around 1991-92.

Thank you so much Hyacinth, your knowledge is mind blowing, I am so happy to be learning all this. :smile1:

I guess after giving the gray bag a bath, we will be able to tell better what color it is.

Once I bought a bag I thought was black and it turned out to be gray after the bath. I'm extremely jealous of your Mulberry bag!

I know I am pushing it ;), but these two came in the mail today. After reading in another thread about the fake Legacies Cotton Hobos, I want to make sure I didn't waste a whole $20, it looks good to me though. (there were 2 keys in a pocket, I have to ask the seller if they are missing some, LOL)

The other I think it was authenticated in the Rehab forum, but better make it official.

Thanks again (till next time).

Officially, the stroll tote is authentic.

The Mulberry is also special? Gosh... I feel like such a dork, I do not know what I am buying, I just go for the cheap that I think I can "fix" or trash it if it doesn't work out.

Thank you for the seal of authenticity on the stroll, that I believe it was from the early 90s?

The Legacy Signature Cotton Hobo is also authentic.

The Retro Stroll Tote #9004 is from the 1991 Retro Collection.

You're welcome!

The Mulberry is special because they don't come up very often since they were only made for a short period of time. Actually all the bags you got are somewhat rare. They are all from the same time period, which makes me wonder if they originally came from the same person's collection.

Thanks, Hyacinth. I am a sucker for the navy. But that's it for this month, I swear!

Yeah, right! I've heard that before!

Shameless bump.

I assume this is a baseball made from a coach bag--best case. Just really curious. Thank you!

it's authentic and is a paperweight. It's not made from a bag.

I'll try to find a style number.

ETA: Style 443:
