Our Salvation Army is all over the place on Coach pricing...right now they have 3 near-perfect vintage bags in the glass case for $150 each...not in my budget, yet once in a while some goodies get through!

Do you know if this bag came with a hangtag, and if so, what color? I didn't see one on the wayback listing.

They must have, but in the catalog pics the only Field Bag showing a hangtag is the Signature version. All the Twill Field Bags in the photo have that side turned away from the camera.. One or two other styles from the Twill line are showing a leather hangtag that matches the leather trim on the bag though.

ETA - Looking at another listing, it looks like it may have had a smooth metal tag, silver base with the center color matching the leather, like these:

Thanks so much for all this info...and authentication. I went looking in my collection for a suitable substitute hangtag...not quite the right one, and I have NO idea where it came from...but it works for me!

EUC means excellent used condition.
The Regina is probably fine. I wish the number was showing though. This is a small bag, quite a bit smaller than the others. You can't fit a full sized wallet inside.

I can't authenticate the station bag without the creed picture.

The other two are authentic.

Hungary is good. The bag is authentic. If you are considering a station bag, you might want to know that the later versions like this one have an adjustable strap while the earlier versions like the one with a unique serial number don't have an adjustable strap.

Ah, good to know! Thanks. The red Regina and a Hippie Flap bag I asked about earlier end today around 11:30. Then I'll know if I get to try for anything else like the saddle bag or a station bag. Station bags don't look to be too difficult to find.

Hello again, could the kind authenticators give me their opinion about my latest bounty?
They are (don't know what they are, LOL) all about the same size 10 x9. I can return them, so after I checked the guides I went ahead with the purchases, I didn't want to have to come back and them be gone.

They're all genuine, and yes, Coach used all those unusual details including the gray color at one time or another, although most only lasted a few years.

But I think the gray color on the one you asked about is just from the original black having faded. I can't find a record of gray being used for that Binocular Bag style during the 2 or 3 years it was being made. If you're planning on giving that one a bath, the color might darken quite a bit especially after conditioning.

1- Scout Bag # 9890

2- Binocular Bag # 9853

3- Mulberry Bag from the Carriage Classics line, # 9899

All of them are from around 1991-92.
