Is this authentic? What is a fair offer price for the clutch? Thank you for your advice.

I've never seen this style--it's very classy looking. It looks authentic to me. With this vintage, I'm puzzled where the seller came up with the $5k price. I'm certain nothing made 20+ years ago sold for that high a price, especially a clutch. Personally (just my opinion) the BIN price is too high. However, when I make an offer, I usually will offer 10-15% less if I really want it. If I can take a rejection, 'cause you can only make one offer, an offer of 20% less wouldn't be too bad to try.

I haven't done more than a half dozen offers (all accepted) so maybe I'm offering too much:confused1:. I hope others offer comments.

This is a very nice looking clutch--appears to be in great condition. If you're serious about it, ask any questions ahead of time--any stains, odors, tears, scratches, etc. things that aren't shown in the pics.

Welcome to the Purse Forum and the BV subforum!

Font looks authentic, as does the bag from the pics, BUT I would ask the seller to send or post clear close-up pics of the front and back of the authenticity tag. I would also want to see the real extent of the damage and flaws, as there has be a huge problem of late, with sellers failing to accurately describe the condition of the bag. Ask if there are any other condition issues about which you should be aware. When you pay this much, you want to know that you are getting an accurate description - and getting what you paid for.

It looks authentic to me, but of an older vintage and has some use/age damage. I have never seen this style before, but the size is great, making it a real purse, rather than just a decoration to carry. In my honest opinion, this bag is grossly overpriced. Most sellers will not accept an offer of less than 10%- so if you really love it, and must have it, then you will be overpaying.

Hi girls!

It's the first time I post in the BV forum and I'm sorry if I'm asking about 2 obvious fake bags.
Anyway here they are:

TIA!!

Here I am with the second auction.:smile1:
The seller told me that she does not have any authenticity card: just the bag. And the pictures attached were not very clear.
What do you think? :confused1:

Zipper pull looks good, but the b&W of the nameprint is hard to read. Ask her to look inside the zipperpocket, in the seam, and there she should find the authenticity tag. Tell her to photograph it on manual without a flash and on macro (the flower picture). That will allow her to focus on the lettering. I want to see the edges of the tag, and the numbers on the backside, as well as the font on the front - and whether the tag is translucent.

I don't want to go out on a limb here, but it looks good, BUT I need the other pieces of info to dot all i's and cross all t's.

From the pics, the bag looks authentic, but as ever I would want to see the authenticity tag front and back.

Their phone number is listed, give them a call. The price is not bad.

Thank you so much! I don't think I will buy it though- white leather scares me. I have the veneta in aurora and my next BV will be in ebano. Maybe somebody else here can get it. The price is VERY tempting.
