This could be a vintage inbetween the very old BV's and the newer ones, and I don't know as much as I'd like on this group. The plastic hangtag always makes me suspicious. The detail that bothers me most is the look of the leather. It doesn't look like the woven nappa that BV uses--it looks thicker and grainier (if that's a word) than real BV woven leather. I wouldn't take a chance on it, but I can't absolutely say it's fake.

I ended up buying from the BV store in BH - pre pre sale. There are sooooo many fakes and bad actors out there. I am glad you and Boxermom and others are keeping an eye out. As I have said before, I have learned a ton by reading your threads.

If you do use this marketplace as a buyer, I would suggest that you scrutinize the seller feedback as you should on eBay, and pay via Paypal where you have buyer protection, and better yet, use a credit card just in case things do not go well. You are breaking new ground, but competition will be good for eBay. Let us know how it goes!
