Hi all, I'm so mad and I don't know how to start a new thread so I'm gonna post here.
I asked u all a few days ago whether this was real http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260241636830&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=016
and just got it in the mail yesterday. It had reddish-pink stain/discoloration on various parts of the bag...so I tried to wipe it off with baby wipe, it just got lighter but not gone. Seller emailed me and I told him and he says he sent it to me without the stains and he's sorry, nothing he can do. I'm so madddddddd....as if I would go and stain it just so I can pay for shipping both ways and not have the bag!! I also told him maybe it's from shipping b/c he didn't second wrap it, it came inside a USPS priority envelope and it's been raining here so maybe moisture got to it from the pkg. But then I went back to the pic in the listing and you can kinda see the reddish pink stain on the upper right corner..it just so happens that most of the stains are on the other side of the bag. I'm sooooo mad and I don't know what to do and it's never happened to me before. The thing is, I would consider keeping it if the seller had just apologized and tried to right the situation..but no.. What should I do??

I am so sorry that you are having this problem... if it is any consolation, I have experienced a lot of this lately, myself! Unfortunately, there seems to be a rash of mis-described items of eBay lately. See the eBay forum on the Purse forum:
http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/

This is the best place to start new threads that are about problems with eBay sales.

First you should read as much as you can, especially anything with regard to SNAD (significantly not as described), and non-disclosure (i.e.,http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-for...t-including-all-information-their-293270.html) posted by Chloehandbags. She is our champion! Next take pictures of everything, including the packing. Thirdly, you may want to open a dispute with Paypal, assuming that you did pay via Paypal. If not, you will want to contact your credit card company.

I personally, would not have tried to clean it, but that is water under the bridge. White and the light colors are very difficult to keep clean, and avoid color transfers - just so you know. I looked at the auction, but I could not really see anything. That doesn't matter, because, some sellers will put pics in that do not fully reveal the extent of the flaws. It was described as new, never used, and it should be perfect. I would file a claim to return for full refund, or you can file for a partial refund.

Good luck, and let us know what you decide!

I just saw these bags on eCrater. It looks like eCrater is an eBay like service. Can anyone share their experience and tell me whether these are the real deal? The prices seem really reasonable.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, these are all authentic, if the pictures are of the actual bag (and that is always an if). A lot of sellers are leaving eBay, and looking for another marketplace... one where the fees are not so high, and the seller has some protection, as well as decent traffic. eCrater has been suggested:

If you do use this marketplace as a buyer, I would suggest that you scrutinize the seller feedback as you should on eBay, and pay via Paypal where you have buyer protection, and better yet, use a credit card just in case things do not go well. You are breaking new ground, but competition will be good for eBay. Let us know how it goes!

 Thank you for the response!

Zipper pull looks good, but the b&W of the nameprint is hard to read. Ask her to look inside the zipperpocket, in the seam, and there she should find the authenticity tag. Tell her to photograph it on manual without a flash and on macro (the flower picture). That will allow her to focus on the lettering. I want to see the edges of the tag, and the numbers on the backside, as well as the font on the front - and whether the tag is translucent.

I don't want to go out on a limb here, but it looks good, BUT I need the other pieces of info to dot all i's and cross all t's.

Hi Baggiana!
Thank you for your advice:smile1:, but since I've asked to the seller the additional pictures and she said she didn't have the time to do take them...I gave up.
I like to buy from people who understand the need of a buyer to see the item and also to see if it's authentic, so...next time!
Thank you anyway!
