PS: I got it from my mommy's closet but since she has many bags, she can't remember the exact details about it. May anyone here can help me for the official name, color and date of release? It's in Gold color with removeable pouch inside the bag. Thanks :)

There are some people here who have one or know more about this style than I do. I think it's called a grommet bag (because of the metal ringed openings). It's probably 4-5 yrs old. Look thru the Celebrities with BV's thread--there is probably a pic of one of the Olsen twins with her bag like this. I don't know the n ame of the color.

Sorry I'm not much help, but others here do have knowledge about this bag!

Hi. I am hoping someone can help. I am new to BV, but am really excited to find a starter piece. I found a bag on ebay and wanted to get an educated opinion on the condition, the name of the style, if this is authentic, and how vintage it is. I really appreciate any assistance since I am always really worried about purchasing the unknown from ebay. Link:

I was ready to say it's authentic, until I saw the metal nameplate. Wrong font and beneath where it says made in Italy in French. Can't imagine that BV would do that. I could be wrong, but personally that's too big a warning sign.

I know that there is only one pic (that shows virtually nothing), but the reflection off the leather looks suspect to me. Apparently, there is a cost to posting more than 1 pic, so new sellers try to get by with one. Still, I do not have a good feeling about this, and there is already 1 bid. Any thoughts?

There just isn't enough to tell. (I think the handle/strap is a bit off in dimension) It's awful that eBay, which says it cares about the # of fakes, works against more pics which help show whether things like this are authentic or fake.
