Darn!!!:cursing: Someone made a best offer on this one... Maybe we will be seeing her here.

I have no idea who you are, but one thing I know for sure is I have NEVER sold you a bag. In fact, this is the first time I have ever listed a BV on my site so why rip me and lie? Why not pm me and just ask me if I am aware that the bag might be a fake? Why lie and trash me to these people and ruin the only means I have to pay for my meds which run $2,000.00 a month? If you don't know what you are doing or are not a real person who knows that much about Bottega Veneta then keep your opinions to yourself. You are hurting people by doing this. Are you the same person who left those horrible emails in my ebay mailbox today? I sent them to ebay. Apparently they are aware of some woman who is trying to shut down all fake BV sellers, eBay thinks this woman is whako, I forgot the exact words they used but she is way overboard, in their opinion. They think she is usually wrong. I hope that's not you becuase if it is you have gone to far and your complaints have fallen on deaf ears. BTW, it did with my listing too.

I'm afraid your bag is most definitely a fake.

This is not personal... There is no doubt in my mind that this bag is a fake, and we never know from whom we are actually buying on eBay, particularly with the new rules, etc. In fact, we really never know from whom we buy until we pay via Paypal - sellers and buyers can have multiple ID's. This is a scary marketplace for many people, and it wasn't always that way. I am a real person, and I do know quite a bit about BV bags. I am sorry if you are really a legitimate seller (I cannot tell this from your feedback as a seller), but this bag is not authentic, and the pictures look exactly like the ones of the counterfeit bag that I purchased - I know, I kept them, and refer to them when asked to authenticate fake Sloanes. I could have contacted you on eBay and asked you, but with the number of fakes and the scarcity of my time, I just filed a report, as I do for all fake BV's I find. I usually post them here to obtain other opinions, but I feel like THE expert on this particular type of fake. No, I am not the person who sent you any emails. I did not contact you at all. eBay may be liable for supporting a marketplace where fakes abound, as they take fees for sales unlike Craig's List. That is their issue and problem. Mine is to prevent someone else from getting scammed the way that I, and others have. As for PMing you, when on eBay, I do not know who you are so how can I PM you? - I can send you a message on eBay, if I have the time. It is more efficient to file a report, and to bring it here, and warn potential buyers. I am glad that you joined, and we will all be more than happy to help you authenticate any bags that you want to list.

Truth be told, eBay, should hire their own experts in each catagory and vet each and every bag. They know that they have a huge problem, in spite of what their rep told you. If you just read through this forum, and the eBay section, you will find multiple postings dealing with this.

The bag that you listed is FAKE, but we will be glad to help you authenticate those bags that you will be listing, so that this does not happen to you again. By the way, I notice that this listing has been removed from eBay (after the fact), so the complaints have not fallen on deaf ears. They do not want to be held liable for counterfeit sales. Please let us help you.

Please don't assume because we feel a bag is fake, that we also send harrassing messages to the sellers. I don't know of anyone here who does that. We simply report to eBay after more than one person determines the authenticity of a bag.

The people you should be angry with are the ones you obtained the bag(s) from. It is indeed fake. I was also a victim of a fake bag seller and decided to learn everything I could so it wouldn't happen again.

Well said Baggiana,
Bags4me2:
There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of members and non-members here reading these posts. If you received harrassing emails regarding your listings, the best thing to do is to ignore them and report them.

As a seller, it is your responsibility to make sure the item you have listed is authentic.

Members are here to help you, so please don't hesitate to ask for help.

I seem to have read somewhere that some posters here have purchased from this seller. Does this look authentic? Also I'm just curious, if her bags are indeed authentic, where do you think she gets them since she has several of the same styles and color.

Brandless - definitely authentic from highly recommended seller. Gorgeous color! - the Veneta bags that she carries, are all this season's colors, and come in two sizes - medium and large. The large Veneta is my favorite bag, since I love the way it drapes! I do not know her source, but she is a member of tPF.

Thanks ladies! I have been oggling at these light colored BVs everyday. I think these are the most beautiful spring colored bags I've seen. They're definitely in my wish list as I just ordered an Ebano in medium yesterday.

Hi, if anyone has opinions on either of these wallets it would be greatly appreciated.

Blue:

I've requested an additional picture of the embossed bottega veneta from this seller because the auction states the wallet is made in spain. I'm note sure if it's a simple mistake or if this is indicative of a fake?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Purse Forum and the BV subforum!

The yellow wallet is authentic. I'd want to see a clear pic of the font stamp on the blue one, but it looks good from the pics shown. BV's are all made in Italy, and even fakes say that! So that part was probably just a mistake when seller was entering the listing information.

Fabulous, thanks so much! I was just looking for a friend for my new veneta.:graucho:
