The seller of this link abose has sent me this photo, i tried to reduce the pic.
I will attach it here. The seller is from Italy.

I will attach the other foto of the other seller's bag from France (the one you said that the green dust bag is fake) in another post.

Thank you so much

Both are correct!!:yahoo:I don't know about the dustbag--it might be a style they made for a short time. The important thing is the nameplates and zipper pulls are correct.

Nice vintage bags!

This one is fake, unfortunately. There are authentic Venetas on eBay, but this isn't one of them.

boxermom, Congratulations on your new granddaughter!... what fun!!!

With regard to the Veneta, what tipped you off? I have a real Veneta purchased from BV, and still could not tell... but then, as I remember, the seller did not include a picture of the authenticity tag. I guess that I am still not any good at this...

Oh Thank you Thank you so much for your nice and quick reply !!!!:flowers:

this is great, now i just have to hope that i will be clever enough to win them both :yahoo:

If there is a gold BV stamp with circle around it behind the authentication tab inside one of the slit pockets in a wallet, does that mean it's a fake? The wallets I purchased at the BV outlets have this stamp.

Baggiana, I think the vintage one is good.

HuskyLover, the bag looks authentic to me looking at the tags, but there`s no way it`s brand new, since it`s one of the older vintage models. And if the seller states that, I wouldn`t necessarily trust him in other issues.

nic_ster, looks off to me. The tag looks good, but something makes me think they took pictures of two different items. The stamp is awful and there`s no way the shiny part of the Matte&Shine looks so polished, like liquid plastic.

tiramisu, why wouldn`t you trust a BV outlet? Their merchandise is of course authentic and I think I`ve seen other wallets with this round stamp.

I sold a wallet on eBay purchased from the outlet. The buyer is now claiming it's fake because of the gold BV circle stamp behind the tag. She claims that she brought the wallet to her local BV store and the sale associate there said it's a fake too! However, she lives in Germany so the sales associate there may not know the difference between a wallet purchased at a store and an outlet. Anyhow, the buyer said she'll be able to obtain a letter from the store. I even offered a copy of my receipt to show it is 100% authentic and explained to her that the wallet was purchased at an outlet so the material may be a 'bit' different from the original ones. I'm having 2nd doubts if the outlet sells authentic merchandise because she may be able to obtain a letter from her store? oh and she claims that this board says any BV merchandise with a gold circle stamp means it's a fake. I just wanted to double check with you BV experts to see if this is indeed true. If it's true, I will need to speak to my SA about it. :confused1:

The font on the interior name tag is wrong for a bag made in the past few years. This fake one is in block letters. BV uses an unusual type style.

I agree with everything claus has said here. HuskyLover, that Veneta has a metal nameplate with a block letter font which the Veneta style would not have. And the dust bag is either fake or very, very old.

I love that raspberry vintage bag--very nice.

If something is from a BV outlet it's authentic. Perhaps the stamp means it's a "second" or just that it's been sold at the outlet, not a regular store.

This is really hard to tell, but one thing I noticed gave it away as a fake... the leather strap on the zipper seems too long. The auth ones have very short leather straps. (see right hand column, second picture from top)
