Can you post pictures of the metal plate with the name stamp? The second bag has a dust bag that doesn't look authentic. At one time there were green bags but the fabric looked different, I believe. The first bag looks good to me. If possible I'd like to see the metal plate.

The vintage bags are lovely when they have had good care--the leather stays nice and gets softer with age.

Welcome to the Purse Forum and the Bottega Veneta subforum!

Thank you so much boxermom for your reply :smile1:
I will try now to post again with the pictures that both sellers have sent me.I apologise if i am making any mistakes in my english.

Thank you C_24

I have to find out what you mean about Intrecciato Intagli now :p

Intagli refers to the process where the strips of leather were perforated first to give texture and then woven as BV weaves their strips (Intrecciato). Ebano was the only color offered but if differs slightly IMO from the regular ebano in that it's very tonal with dark auburn undertones. It's beautiful.

Brennamom, I haven't seen this style before, but that doesn't mean it was never made. It appears to be vintage but this isn't really like any of the vintage bags I've owned or seen. The nameplates were centered in the ones I've had and the leather on this one has a different sheen or reflection than I'm familiar with. It could be due to lighting or camera flash, but personally I'd have too many questions about it. I like the color and the lining looks good, but the rest:shrugs:, I just don't know. I couldn't say authentic.

Anyone else have ideas on this one?

I agree! Something about the bag and the not-centered nameplate just seem off to me. Could be authentic, but I wouldn`t personally bid on it.

Your English is fine!!! The nameplate is an important thing to look at, but in general, the bag looks like a real Bottega Veneta.

and this is the picture that the seller sent me by mail of it's interior.

She is selling a lot of small label bags, and even a BV wallet. So i dont know if it makes it suspicious.

If both of them are authentic, the vintage one from Italy, and this one, i hope i will be able to win them both, even though i am not experienced with ebay purchasing and bidding.

Thank you very very much .:smile1:

It's rather very encouraging to get such quick answers and nice help after my very first post, i almost regret i waited so much to post in this forum.:shame:
