I'm bumping this up because I'm still troubled by kellyguo's wallet from BlueFly and why the BV stamp looks so strange. Has anyone else ever seen an authentic BV with such a strange stamp? Could it be a second or something? This certainly does make me a lot less comfortable with BlueFly... unless there is some explanation for why this wallet's stamp is so odd.

kellyguo - were you able to get a picture of the authenticity label inside the wallet? Seeing that might help...

It's interesting that the seller does not say if this is new or used. The dust bag shown is a few years old. This bag looks like it's trying to be a Cabat, but isn't. I am uneasy about this bag but perhaps some of our very informed members will know if this is a legitimate BV style and if the bag is real. I would have to know if it's new or used. Sorry I'm not more help, Vicky. (Welcome!)

I'm with boxermom about not feeling right about this one. The authenticity tag itself looks okay but the way the pictures are taken I'm not comfortable they are even from the same bag... something just looks off to me and I don't like the look of how the handles are sewn onto the bag.

Again, I'm with boxermom as I've never seen (in pictures or IRL) an authentic BV with a gold embossed name and the font is wrong as well. The leather also seems too shiny to me.

The tag is actually the one from the wallet which might be authentic, but the I-try-to-be-a-Cabat-bag looks just completely wrong.

This is a FAKE. Period.

I have the wallet in this style and the imprint is on the left inside, right under the first slot for the cards. No gold coloured imprint on my wallet or any that I have seen on BV wallets. Ask the seller to show the tag, which should be hidden in the right inside pocket. He has one photo showing the left inside pocket.

Just got my first BV thru Bluefly. It's a cream Sloane. I've seen the same purse (but different color) in the BV store before. The quality and look of the leather are pretty authentic to me. I think it's a real.
I wish I know how to post pictures...so I can show it to everyone on this thread. Need to figure out the technical part first! :)

I bought a blue (BF called it "denim" but I think it was Oceano) French wallet. I wasn't sure it was authentic so I returned it. The leather was soft but the corners didn't feel as sturdy as the one I'd seen in the boutique.

I think the one I sent back was recently re-listed on the BF site.
