They are different Sellers - mine was kicked off eBay but unfortunately not until AFTER I bought fiasco-bag. If your Seller is so apologetic, really didn't know the bag was a fake (although we've all heard the "I'm selling for a friend" excuse before...) and is legitimately concerned about her feedback, is she willing to refund your money as a good faith gesture BEFORE you return the bag? Or perhaps refund most of it but hold back a bit until she receives the bag back? Mine was okay with returning the bag and refunding me but then found another reason not to refund me when it arrived. Just a thought.
I hear you, and my gut tells me that you are right! I am taking your advise. The best proof that I have that the bag is not authentic is the bag itself. If I return it to the seller, she could well decide that she will not refund (as your seller did), and now she has the money and the proof. I recontacted Paypal, and they have asked me to allow them to handle the case, not to communicate with the seller directly, and to follow their directions - right now, they want me to keep the fake until they tell me otherwise. I asked the rep how long the determination might take, and she said up to a month. It will certainly take longer and be more difficult if I return the proof, I am betting... If I did initiate a cc charge back, then Paypal will remove themselves from the dispute, so I will wait to see how this is resolved before contacting the cc company. Hopefully, this will be unnecessary. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your thoughts - especially since my impulse was to return the fake today. Thank you!!! You have done a good deed, and hopefully things will work out for both of us!!!
