I have four sloanes, and none of them have interior pocket linings in that fabric. And lawbabe is right, those same pics keep popping up. I have to say that the majority of Sloanes on ebay are fake. The authenticity tag is also a different fabric to the ones in my bags.

BAGAHOLIC..hi..those #'s have been used on dark brown , black and that light grey sloane bag..THEY ARE ALL FAKE..the last 4 #'s designate the color and they are all wrong for the colors that they are..and the prices they are getting .. don't you want to scream!!! BE CAREFUL

Prestwick thanks for the extra info, yes it does make me want to scream its just so unbelievably wrong! $800 for a fake bag, I feel so sorry for the people that bought them.

I'm so glad I found PF and can ask here before I buy :tup: you ladies are amazing with your authenticity knowledge.

Aki Sato, just a couple of things, I don't mean to worry you but I checked my Carmino veneta with the pink lining and the inside pocket is also pink as well. Also do you know what season your red veneta is from, it looks like cassis to me from this seasons cruise but your authenticity tag only has one line of codes instead of 2. I'm no BV expert though and I hope the others chime in soon :tup:

I think there was a different red (rosso?) a season or so before carmino which was a bit pinker. This might be it - which would explain why the pocket lining might be different and there would only be one row of codes on the tag. Fingers crossed... Hopefully someone can confirm the colour code for that earlier red.

Hey aki_sato, I've done some more research and I'm pretty sure your bag is the colour "rosso" - not sure what season it was but it was a while ago. And the colour code for rosso seems to be 6500 - I was just doing a quick final search to confirm that and came right back to your original post which included the numbers from the tag - including the 6500 colour code! But hopefully someone else who actually has something in rosso can confirm for sure?

I have asked the seller when was this bag purchased..she said, she couldn't remember exactly however it was few years ago..

Sorry to keep asking question everyone, it's just that there is no BV boutique here in Sydney, so I have no sources to ask except troubling you guys :push:

So thank you!!

Just for a peace of mind, so for now, the bag is authentic isnt it?
