hi ladies....i know that you all have a list of color code. can i check how does color code 4841 look like?
i know it's blue but when i check the reference thread, i can't find it.

TIA

Hi Boxermom and Baggiana,

I have finally recieved the closeup shot of the leather label - can you please tell me if this is authentic? Thanks heaps for all your help!

Yes, it looks authentic to me .

The confusion with the color code may be a result of the color of the hardware. Most of the hardware that I see is in the gold colored highly polished brass, and for that my list of color codes is right. But the hardware on this ball (which looks just right) is more oxided, like the campana, discussed above, so I would bet that this would account for the different numbers - 1569 vs 1520. Note that that campana also had the more bronze-looking/oxidized hardware, and a different color code for nero. It seems even more nuanced than I realized... Any ideas, BV.luxury or boxermom?

I love this color, but I do not suppose a BV ever came with a lining like this, or did it?
Pls check this for me:

I have seen this type of lining, during the days when the font was sans serif. There should still be an authenticity tag, and a name imprint (probably in leather, but may be in metal, and you should request pics to check on the authenticity.

:confused1: Sorry, I do not have that number. I have put together my list, from what I have seen, and do not have access to a master list. Anyone else?

Baggiana: You're on track - it really is more of nuance than anything. But yes, it is because of the gunmetal, or oxidized, hardware. For example, the Ball Bag in Nero is also color code 8175.

Thanks, bv.luxury! We need your expertise!!! I put the numbers and descriptions on my list, and that should make it even more accurate, and easier to authenticate. I do have a long list of colors without numbers, so I am still looking...

Baggiana: Anytime! Let me know if there are ever any other color codes you don't know - I could check my list to make sure it's legit.
