Hi Auth Experts,

Could anyone confirm that this is what is printed on the gold plate of a Cabat?

BOTTEGA VENETA
Made In Italy
Limited Edition
Lavorazione Fatta A Mano
Fall 2005 xxx/500

And also, that for a Large Cabat in Nero, the auth tag states "115664 V9131 1000"

1. I think this is authentic, a bit older wallet.

2. Seller needs to provide more photos: the white authenticity tag inside the wallet showing the number code, and a clear photo of the stamped name inside the wallet. We can't tell just from the outside. None of seller's auctions have more than one photo! It looks nice on the outside, though.

3. This looks good except on the photo with the name font, the stitching looks uneven to me. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo. I hope someone else will comment.

Baggiana? what say you on these three?

1. looks like authentic vintage.

2. As you said, boxermom, there are not enough pictures to say anything. As for clear pictures... most legitimate sellers will send them directly to you, even if they do not way to pay to post extra pictures.

3. As you said, it does look ok from what we can see, BUT I want to see pictures of the zipper pull, and the authenticy tag - front and back. I, too, cannot see the stitching, but what is most important are the pics that I mentioned above - please request these and do not bid unless she sends. The starting pirce is exceedingly low.. By the way, this seller has very little feedback, and while she states that she is a member of tPF, ask her for her ID so that you can send her a PM to confirm. I tend to trust tPF members, but I want to authenticate them too!

eminere™, if you post the pics back here, we can do a better job of helping you authenticate these. I can only give you my opinion of how it looks based on what I see, and my opinion is in no way a guarantee. In the end, you must use your own best judgment. When something is too good to be true, it is usually, not true... but every once in awhile, you get a wonderful bargain.

Wow! Thanks, bv.luxury!:flowers: I have about 8 for which I have no numbers, and another 5 or so with numbers and no real name, but my own color description/name, i.e. 5000 as "lilac", and 4301 as "cerulean blue" Would you prefer that I PM you with the list or would you like me to post?

Nymph: That is NOT the correct style number for the Large Cabat!!!

I have a question for all you experts here. I just bought this bag from ebay:

I know she is a reputable seller and I have compared the bag I received to the one I recently purchased from the BV boutique - looks and feels very similar.

However, this bag came with a matching mirror and the medium Veneta I got from the BV store didn't - is it suppose to come with a matching mirror??:confused1:

I believe the Venetas should come with mirrors. Call the BV store regarding the missing mirror.

Perhaps bv.luxury can offer an explanation? You have every right to call and ask where the mirror is.
