Thanks Baggiana - the seller lowered the price significantly in this re-listing and I just didn't want to see someone snap it up thinking it was a good deal.

Clearly, his English (American) is not good, but then my "almost any other language" is abominable! His sin is not language...

doloresmia, do not bother with asking for the additional information from the seller. I just sent a report using my special tool, since the iOffer clearly states that this is a replica bag. I do not know what to expect (probably not much) since the seller is from the UK, and eBay.UK generally ignores even enhanced reporting. It is against US law to mail a counterfeit, so it is very interesting to read the caveat listed under terms of sale for iOffer: "Also due to the particular nature of replica business,we garantee export from China but we do not garantee 100% safety from customs in destination country, we compensate when parcel is missing during shipping but will not resend for free if it's seized by customs."

I have the same situation for a bag from Australia. We've done our best, and eBay should pick up the slack. In the meantime, thank you for alerting us!!!

Can someone advise if this is real? Thanks!

I bought this bag about a year ago, as a vintage Bottega Veneta. Now after reading some postings on authenticity, I am starting to wonder. The gold metal label is the only label. Outer pocket has brown satin lining, main compartment has leather lining. To open the bag, you must pull the tassel to release the snap on the flap. The leather is very soft, I love the feel of this bag. I do hope it is real! Anyone know?

It's a lovely vintage authentic bag. The ones with this style metal nameplate don't have any tags inside. I love the older vintage styles.

I am new to BV (I am usually YSL + Fendi Spy) but have loved their bags for ages. Some advice a white semi-woven bag how easy is that style to clean I have 2 kids and considering a white bag now.
Best

Obviously lighter colors will show wear faster than the darker colors. I've read that baby wipes are good for removing soil from leather, but I haven't tried it myself.

Try posting your question in the regular BV section below this--I'll bet you will get several replies from people who own white bags.

Good luck!

Correct tag, lining and zipper pull... an authentic, vintage BV. Enjoy!

With white (a magnet for an dirt or color transfer from clothing), or any light color, I would definitely pre-treat for water-resistance and soil. The recommended spray is Apple Guard, but my leather restoration expert, told me that any spray pre-treatment with a minimum (<0.5%) of silicone is what I want. I have pretreated my Regent (medium green) Veneta, and no darkening, no water stains (even after rain and a whole cup of water was accidently spilled near/on it )- no change to the leather in terms of hand, or color. I, also, pretreated a vintage bag of a color very close to Poudre (lavendar/pink/mauve), and it is performing beautifully - no downside yet. I do baby my bags, but I really want to wear them, so I need protection.
