Thanks for using the standard format. The seller should be willing to provide clear photos of both sides of the white authenticity tag. Seller says that it's inside the bag and that any BV store will authenticate, but a buyer needs to have this information brfore he/she turns over their money. That's why we ask to see the tag, font, etc. before people bid on something. I see no warning signs, but the tag is very important.

p.s. I am out of town; just checking in while I have a few minutes. Coming week will be very busy. So I hope someone can follow up with this request.

Comments: Have bidded this at BIN price but when i looked at the 3rd pic more carefully, the details look a bit different from my veneta. The feel of the leather and the lettering on the 3rd picture somehow made me feel quite uneasy. I will also check with seller regarding the authenticity tag. Any opinion on this? Thanks. :)

Hi, it looks like a vintage veneta. Can you have the seller send you pictures of the front and back of the authenticity tag and post them here? I don't see any warning signs, though :smile1:

Hi, thanks for e fast reply Miss_FancyBags! So glad that there's no warning signs:) will get e required pics. Could u tell e size? It doesn't look like large veneta. Is it that vintage veneta is smaller than medium veneta? Thanks.

Hi, it's hard to tell the size since the seller didn't put dimensions in the description. My guess is it's a medium by the way it looks. Maybe she can measure it for you? Also, ask her if it has a cell phone pocket. Good luck! :smile1:

This listing raises a lot of questions for me, and there seems to be information in the listing that is inconsistent with what I know about authentic ebano large Venetas. The tag photo and stamped trademark are not clear enough for me to opine definitively on authenticity. But even assuming that it's authentic (which I wouldn't assume, actually), the listing says it's ebano, but what I see in the photos is inconsistent with it being ebano. Why is the interior a different color? If it is authentic, has it been re-dyed? Why is there a "missing woven piece" as disclosed under the questions and answers? It also does not seem to be the "largest size" as described by the seller. Plus the exterior looks like it's in rough shape, though it might just be the lack of photo quality.

If anything seems suspicious, I won't buy, there are lots of nice bags out there. Can't stand the thought of buying a fake. Thank you so much for such great help! :D

I agree with blueiris - there are lots of questions here. My guess based on the pictures is it's an authentic bianco white large veneta that's been dyed a darker color. The original white almost seems to be echoing through the darker dye. The dryness mentioned is probably due to the dye process. The white area in the pocket may be something like whiteout covering up writing, who knows?!

If I'm not allowed to mention price, just delete this, Jburgh, but I gotta say, this one's going high for a bag with possible undisclosed issues.
