Thanks!!

Authentic IMO. The style is actually called a Veneta and the color is Bianco (white). You may want to keep in mind that this interpretation of the Veneta was released back in 2006-2007 (I don't exactly remember). It was described as brand new with tags but maybe what the seller meant was it was never used before. Thought you may just want that piece of info so you can do your own due diligence given that the bag is white and light colored bags can get quite tricky with age.

^^TDL...Thank you so much for your input. I really appreciate it. I did research the bag and I found out it is from 2006. I was thinking about the same thing as far as yellowing of the bag. I will keep that in mind. Thanks again!!!

Hi, could you experts help me with this bag? Thank you so much!!

Thanks a lot!

This link brings me to a red wallet. There aren't enough details showing in the photos to give an accurate opinion. Please see post #1 for the types of photos generally needed--on this one, I would want to see at least the front and back of the tag.

I will say, regardless of authenticity, this wallet looks very, very, very stained and damaged. I don't think any amount of money in repairs would bring it into adequate shape (in my opinion).

I am relatively new here and am getting a notice that I cannot post but hope that it is in error. Can someone please help us? I have a buyer who thinks our Bottega is not authentic. It is a beautiful vintage piece and we are really upset and want our buyer to be happy. Can anyone help us so I can send her here? The item is 260750511144 I am happy to start posting here but can't wait days for help on this. Will someone help an honorable seller?

Not all bags have the year of production on the tags--it has been on the last few years but BV changes details without notice! Check the posts regarding this bag on pages 262-263, posts #3230-3232 because someone asked about this bag previously. It was sold and is now for sale again. Miss_FancyBags believes it's authentic and I see nothing to contradict that.

can anyone kindly authenticate this for me? ;)
thanks

Hi, most authenticators here authenticate for buyers only, not sellers. There are several "for pay" authentication sites on the internet.

Due to a conflict of interest, I don't authenticate for sellers on the Purse Forum, but maybe another authenticator will help you. Good luck!

Thank you. I've been told that before but hope that someone will take pity on me since the sale has already taken place and I have been told that although some authenticators won't help sellers others will. I completely respect your position and make no judgment but hope that someone will help me today so I can get right back to the buyer. I am more than happy to pay but I have no idea who does BV and if I'm told I'll certainly use them in the future. We authenticate all our Gucci, Vuitton etc with caroldiva and have never listed a fake bag and never would. This question of authenticity is a first for us and we're not sure what to do but would use a professional authenticator in the future if given a name. I would like to think that someone here is willing to help a seller in this position as when you help a seller you are actually helping the buyer which I assumed was the whole point of the existence of this forum. Hopefully someone will take pity and will also direct me to the correct authenticator to use in the future. Our buyer thinks that because the hardware is not stamped that it cannot be genuine and that it just not true on vintage Bottega as well as many other brands. This bag has the vintage artichoke balls which obviously cannot be stamped. Anyone?

Could you please help me to authenticate this Bottega Veneta Briefcase? TQ very much in advance

Hi, we need to see a picture of where "Bottega Veneta" is embossed in the leather. Since the seller is a member here, I'm sure she'll send it to you if you ask!

I don't see any warning signs & it's quite beautiful, but since I'm not as well aquainted with exotics as some other authenticators, let's get some more opinions :smile1:
