I agree with blueiris - there are lots of questions here. My guess based on the pictures is it's an authentic bianco white large veneta that's been dyed a darker color. The original white almost seems to be echoing through the darker dye. The dryness mentioned is probably due to the dye process. The white area in the pocket may be something like whiteout covering up writing, who knows?!

If I'm not allowed to mention price, just delete this, Jburgh, but I gotta say, this one's going high for a bag with possible undisclosed issues.

Comments: It looks authentic to me, though I always thought that the certification tag must have the production year, which is nonexistent in this case.

Not all bags have the year of production on the tags--it has been on the last few years but BV changes details without notice! Check the posts regarding this bag on pages 262-263, posts #3230-3232 because someone asked about this bag previously. It was sold and is now for sale again. Miss_FancyBags believes it's authentic and I see nothing to contradict that.
