IMPORTANT READ-ME

Please see post #1 for complete Balenciaga authentication rules. All requests must be posted in this thread. Authentications are not done via private message or in any other thread.

A link to the listing in question is required.

It is an authenticator’s right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format. If the listing you are interested in is missing photos it is your responsibility to request them from the seller prior to posting in this thread.

Thanks and be well!

Authentic in my opinion, but you may want to google the colour (S/S 2012 bleu indigo) and see it in different lightings. The lighting is quite warm in this listing and skews the colour a bit IMO.

She’s winding her way through the Poshmark authentication process after a reasonable offer was accepted! Thank you! And thank you for the comments about the colour. I would have been disappointed if I hadn’t adjusted my expectations.

My pleasure, looking forward to your reveal!

Hi, already bought this bag after confirmation by a local authenticator (and even posted this in another thread, was so happy about it!) but upon close examination, some things feel a bit off to me, so i’d like to humbly ask for your expert opinion:

- the lack of leather in the front pocket and the use of pewter hardware, despite being from 2005
- the code on the metal plate? Did bal ever come out with this font? Is it possible the metal plate might have been replaced?
- the cut tassels… personally ive met people who really do cut their tassels but im worried this might also be an indicator of its inauthenticity
- the dustbag… been collecting for a few yrs now and it’s my first time encountering a red zip around bal dustbag!

however, i believe A (S/S 2005) is consistent with the release of bal’s turquoise color, and the leather is just so buttery in real life!

The only thing that brings me peace of mind is that the seller allows money back guarantee if ever. But i truly hope this is real; i love the color & thought i was so lucky to get the first in turquoise!

Thanks a lot in advance!

Sorry, that's fake.

And I don't know what's going on in that listing, but the video is of a completely different bag.

As mentioned the bag isn’t authentic, but it’s not a totally bad fake. Sorry you have to deal with this.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Just a note to everyone - seller says (and has proof) that she bought this from TRR, I’m so disappointed  I guess this is yet another reminder to exercise extra caution when buying preloved, even from trusted resellers - ask for as much detailed photos as you can because I definitely didn’t
