I can say for sure that the skull and poppy is authentic and the skull and stripes one is most likely authentic as well.

I've never seen a McQueen scarf that says Alexander McQueen twice on the tag and also i have never seen it say anything more than dry clean only Made in Italy and the fabric content, so from what i can see i think it is fake. Sorry

It looks like soleilbrun has the same tag as the two scarves I bought from Saks after Christmas sale. When I bought them only the Rose Tudor one has the McQueen tag along with Saks tag. The blue butterfly only has the Saks tag. I've cut off both price tag and now saw a reply to soleilbrun that hers is fake, which has same tag as mine. It says Made in Italy and Fabrique en Italie on the care side.
I don't know if I can even return the blue one because I can't find the Saks tag.
I've compared the care tag to the ones I bought last year and they are not the same.

I noticed that superchubby's post # 588 shows 5 scarves, of which the 2 left ones were deemed authentic by the authenticator (skull and poppy and skull and stripes). Her 3 right scarves all have the same care tags as mine and soleilbrun. The care tags have Dry Clean only in English as well as Spanish and French. Also the other side of the care tags have Made in Italy and Fabrique en Italie. I am waiting for mine to be authenticated as well.

I purchased 5 scarves throughout 2011 (1 from AMQ boutique, 1 from AMQ website, 2 from Net-a-Porter, and 1 from Matches), and they all have the same tags as yours and soleilbrun.
Hello, thanks for your reply. Are you talking about the care tag? The ones I bought from Saks & AMQ website in 2010 are different from the ones I just got in December 2011 from Saks.
The Saks ones says Made in Italy twice (English and French). Then on the other side it says Dry Clean in 3 languages. Whereas the ones I bought in 2010 only says Dry Clean.

I know I seem paranoid, but for that much money I don't want to be gipped. BTW, I just found the Saks price tag for my blue butterfly scarf. Wheew!
