This is awesome. I am searching tpf right now actually about that exact same scarf. The seller has 6 of them, so thankfully we aren't in shopping competition for it :smile1:

I posted about the bag of that seller that I'm thinking of buying here.... Yes I want to buy BOTH the bag AND scarf with my bonus.
And someone was kind enough to validate that the seller does have authentic goods.

It also appears that the scarf is a known McQ pattern. See THESE awesome photos:
I have limited experience with McQueen...so I won't go all the way to say that i'm sure it's authentic. But, I am probably going to buy from this seller this weekend, so if you want to wait a week I'll let you know how my purchase goes.

Yay, we'll be scarf twinkies Robinn!! I went ahead and ordered it today. I hope to see it in the next couple of weeks. Good find on the modeling shots you linked me too. I'm even more excited now!!

Yes! TWINS. :ghi5: I just bought mine too (and the handbag). We will have to both post photos upon receipt to try to inspire the sales of the other 4.

I always loved koi designs, like in tattoos....except I would never get a tattoo large enough to properly display such a design. So this scarf is my fashion-subsitute for a tattoo.

Sorry, I cannot authenticate.
Best advice, is to buy from a reputable seller on ebay - or considering that the Classic skull scarf is the one most faked, you may want to buy full retail since you will have it for a very long time and if you wear it often, it will be worth the investment.

Well thanks for your reply but obviously I can't afford to buy it,at least right now! 200$ is a lot of money.So as long as I can find it cheapier I will go for it.
So if anyone can authenticate it I will appreciate it!

Hi, I was really contemplating in buying the limited Edition Olympic scarf because I wanted it so bad when I heard about it but people were selling if for crazy price but now I am able to afford it but don't want to buy a fake. I was wonering if this one is a fake.

If I remember correctly, this one was only sold at holt. The holt tag looks like it has been tagged oddly and also the shape of the tag as well. I have been to holt couple times and they are usualy square. I don't know if they made many fakes with this material and if they do, are the fakes more realistic.

Also they don't make very many fakes of the fashion scarves because it is hard to replicate well but I would like someone elses opinion and your thoughts

I did get my scarf in the mail on Wednesday. Before you get mad that the seller's delayed yours...I paid probably $20 or $30 extra in shipping b/c I bought a bag too. So I think she uses different shipping depending on the item size.

The scarf is BEAUTIFUL. Completely authentic! I didnt actually wear it yet.... I'm planning my outfit for it's debut next week and then I'll do modeling photos.

Let me know when you get yours!!

Can anyone tell me if these are real or not ?They are at an absurdly low price for such scarves and I've been trying to check the stamps and tag on the the Alexander Mcqueen website with these but I'm still not sure.If anyone could reply I would be so very grateful!
