Hi everyone

Sorry that Ive been offline for the past few weeks. I've been really busy- moved into my "new" old house, getting settled in, getting kids settled into school, dealing with all kinds of recent family "dramas" that I dont want to get into here... anyway, I havent really had time to participate here as usual... but I'm back now! So feel free to post questions in my thread. I promise to give a speedy reply, as in the past. :)

Hi TE,

I'm a Tano newbie. I've been lurking in the Tano SF for over a week now, and have enjoyed reading everything about Tano and its products. And now I have a few questions for you:

I just bought a Caramel Boogie Bucket last week after a loooong search for the perfect bag (for me) and I just couldn't be happier with it. However, it was very hard to find, as they seem to be sold out almost everywhere online. I was actually on the verge of buying a Boogie in Mudslide or Tangerine when I happened to find the Caramel Boogie.

Because it was so hard to find, I'm wondering if I should buy a backup Caramel Boogie, just so that I have another one when this one wears out. I regret not buying a backup for my previous purse, which was a green Guess Pisa Satchel. It wore out a few years after I got it, and I was never able to find another to replace it, which was heartbreaking, because I loved it so much.

I guess my question is, do you think the Caramel Boogie Bucket (in whatever color variation) will be back for spring/fall '11? Or do you foresee the color being discontinued? I can buy another Caramel as a backup, but I hate to spend the money on something now that might still be available in a year or so. And I wonder how the leather would do stored away for possibly a year or more, although I suppose I could alternate Boogies so they both get equal arm time.

Sorry if this is a tad long...thanks for any insight you may have!

Welcome, Jacks mama.

Caramel was a Spring 2009 and Fall 2009 color, although the color was much darker for Fall than it was for Spring (should have had a different name.)

Its not in the lineup for Fall/winter 2010. I wont know the Spring 2011 colors until Jan.

Tanos production is quite small so its not always possible to find things that are from past seasons- retailers tend to mark down whatever Tano bags they dont sell at the end of the season and at that point they sell easily.

Storing a Tano bag is not be a problem. If it gets dry in storage, just hit it with a coat of lexol!

Hi TE, hope everything has calmed down for you now.

When you get a moment I have a few questions. Can you compare the size of the Head to Toe to the Petit Larceny? Also, will the H2T be available in Bison? And last, any idea on lining colors?

Head to toe is flatter and more east/west oriented than PL
I can tell you lining colors of bags that are in stock now but not of future arrivals since you just never know what will happen.... KWIM?

Sorry I missed your post. I usually get an email notification when someone posts in this thread...

Anyway, yes, the photo looks true to life (on my monitor) and as for the "mist" color, Ive never seen those colors- so they may have been dropped or cut especiallt]y for a special retailer or something like that.
