I'm a user,for what it's worth I think a purse is a useless thing to collect,no offense to those that think otherwise.
I tend to tire of things after a while,so I sell them or give them away.

Case in point,I purchased a SO Ribera MM in mono I've used it a month and I'm already thinking of selling it :shame: .

I'm a user. I don't have enough bags to be considered a collector, but I do know that if I have bags that I notice I am not using, I will sell them...so I will probably never be a collector!

hmm....I am both a user and a collector!

I have about 2o or 25 lf mono bags, but only really use like 5-10 of them. the others are rather for travel or just to have on hand.....to look at, admire and use sometimes.
for example I have a deuville which has never been used.....might get one day but not at the moment.
same with my mc keepall in black. wanted to use it for paris, but will use another bag instead:-)

I have never sold any of my bags nor will I ever. I enjoy knowing my lil collection is growing and growing. I have never bought any of my bags from anyone/ebay, etc. Only from the LV store. I just like to know I'm the only one that's used it. Is that weird?!? :rolleyes: Maybe that's just me..anyone else?:blink: LOL!

I think you're a TRUE USER if and only if you have ONE essential LV bag. However, when you start to have more than 3, it's like...do you really NEED all of them?!?! I would say, logically, NO.:hrmm: So if you have more than one masterpiece bag, then you're a "collective user"! Thus I am a collective user too! YAY lol
Also, buying solely from the LV store is the only way to go for me too. Besides knowing that you're the first owner of the bag and that it's truly authentic, you can also snoop around and feast yer eyes on all the other lovelies in the store! Just looking at them makes me *drool* lol!:rofl:
Finally, I seem to use LV bags based on that day's purpose: I have a "going out" LV bag, then there's the "school" one, the "site-seeing/adventure" one, and "party" one. But if the day's crappy, eg raining, I tend to take out my "substitude" bags such as Dior, Moschino, and Prada ones... I'm so weird...lol:shocked:

I consider myself a user because I buy the bag not the line KWIM? I have bags from many different designers. I buy what I like. However, I must admit I have quite a few bags that have never seen the light of day yet. I hope I get around to using them. It's a shame IMO to have a gorgeous expensive bag that just sits in the closet. Although I consider my bags a "collection" I still feel they should be worn and not just be admired.

Great Q! it's interesting to see what others do with their bags. I'm definately a USER. I have my two fave bags but I'll use the other ones as the occasion arrises or depending what I need to carry or "do I need my hands free" etc. etc.

I've sold a couple of items I bought used, after trying it out for a couple days & if it doesn't suit my needs I'll sell them.
I can't imagine buying an item just to let it sit on a shelf though, I've got to show the world!!
