i'm mostly a user and i want to collect all the LE pieces.. at least one of each LE line. :)

although, my buyer instincts usually tell me to buy something worth my money.. so i rarely ever buy an LE piece i won't use.. lol. it doesn't click with me in my head to buy it, store it and sell it later for 30-40% above the retail... even though i know i can later, but i can't bring myself to buy it currently. lol. weird i know.

I collect handbags because I love them, but I also use them. I like mine to look fairly new, so I've sold a few older ones in my collection. I want to get some limited ed. LV's in the future, such as the fringe bucket & silver speedy. I'm on a waiting list for both. I try to keep mine in good condition in case I tire of one and want to sell it.

I am definitely both! I have tons of bags that I don't use but can't bear to sell because they look nice...or who knows...you know, that kind of packrat mentality...

I am definitely more of a user than a collector. Naturally, there are pieces that are not as practical to wear everyday or are more specific and which I tend to carry less but I never buy a handbag with the intention of letting it sit on a shelf and collect dust!

I use all my bags. I am currently only using my 2 LV's so all my older Coach, Burberry, and Kate Spades are sitting patiently on the bookcase in my bedroom. I can't bring myself to sell any of them because you never know, I still use them if it is bad weather or I am going someplace I don't want to bring my LV. ;)

Hmmh difficult question for me to answer. I tend to use my favourite bag a lot and others that <i love dearly as well sit in their sleeper. I love to look at them but e.g my black pretty new Gaucho which I really love seems more like a fall/winter bag to me so it sits in its dustbag and is waiting for its time or I just adore my MC white lodge pm which is defintely a summer bag is biting its time because it's just pissing down with rain the last couple of weeks. I probably could find an excuse why I don't use this or the other for every of my bag. So I guess I'm a mix of both user and collector. The funny thing is that I only own 5 very nice bags and I already have problems choosing a bag. I'll add an Eith and a Kobba within the next 2 weeks and I'm already not knowing how to figure out a fair rotation system. I wonder how some of you girls with huge collection do it?

Definately a user.
I tend to use some more than others, but at this point, if something goes unused for more than 2 years (my Keepall being the only exception, as it's not a handbag and I don't travel much) then I sell it and put the money towards something that I think I'll use more.

I'm just like that too. I love NEW bags and can only buy them from the store. I don't think I'll ever buy LVs from ebay. I just don't want the headache of dealing with ebay or knowing that I'm touching someone's dirty from the patina. ;)

I'm definitely a user. I have a few favorite pieces at a time and that's it. I can't justify the $ to have a lot of bags. I just got my mono bucket and that's it for awhile.

I am trying to turn myself into a former collector as I want to only keep bags I truly use and enjoy. One of the joys of having a LV bag is the lightweightness of the canvas for me. The bag is functional and beautiful at the same time. I need to list a lot of my other bags on ebay and have just been too lazy. PHH also wants me to sell bags I don't use so I can enjoy other ones I really want.
