Are there any David Yurman fans here?

I'm also curious for others to answer if they know. I love David Yurman but have not purchased anything recently but it would be a shame if their quality went down. I have an experience of purchasing longchamp bag online then found a label saying made in China so off it went back. There are just certain brands that I can't keep if it's made in china. Kate spade made in china I can deal with but couldn't deal with longchamp made in china. I do understand changing economy & things are not made like they used to be, it just a shame.

Can you explain why not Longchamp (but ok for kate spade)?

Idk where dy is made, i have bought a few pieces with mixed quality.
Luckily if you order online you can return for full refund.

I am staying away from David Yurman and they are now probably manufacturing in China. Can't get a straight answer as to where they are made. This is very suspicious and with the high prices. No thanks!

I am not sure where Yurman is made these days, but I do believe the quality has gone down. I purchased two pieces around the first of the year and returned both. One was a silver link bracelet. I have one from maybe 15 years ago that is two-tone, and it still looks brand new. The one I purchased this year was so flimsy, I did not think it would last nearly as long. I also bought a necklace with a small heart on it. There were no dimensions on the website, but when I got it you had to squint to see it. It was not an inexpensive piece. The bracelet I have has almost tripled in price since I bought it. I know when you buy designer anything, you are buying a name, too. But it's sad that the quality cannot stay the same as it was years ago.

Hi all!
Recently I purchased a Cable Collectibles ring to stack online and was a bit concerned after I read your posts above.

However, the quality turned out great, like in my previous gold items - it is carefully made, no noticeable flaws, and the diamonds are small but nice.

There is no mark of the production country however (ordered via Farfetch), but I would not say it can be China.
Maybe it depends on the items and i.e. silver comes from China?
