Are there any David Yurman fans here?

Some items are made in China. The cable collection with silver and 14k gold are made in China when I asked a SA in store. Majority of the 18k gold pieces are all over: Italy, USA.
Coming back to update this thread for future reference. I recently went to a David Yurman Outlet, and lots of their stuff are now being made in Thailand. Especially the silver collections. The majority of the fine jewelry pieces are still made in USA and Italy.

Just visited two DY stores today. Most items are made in India, Thailand and China. Some items made in USA and neither store could find made in Italy items. Both stores claimed that some gold chains (not available in the stores) are made in Italy. I am wearing my Bvlgari and VCA diamond jewelries today, even the DY SA could tell the difference in quality, commented that Bvlgari and VCA are at least twice more expensive than DY.

If you are looking for nice quality luxury jewelries, DY probably isn’t your top choice. I already spent more than 2k on repairs within these two years.
I still buy their made in India and USA pieces because I simply like some of their designs. Overall, I don’t recommend their silver jewelries, they no longer age as well as they used to be.

Yes I went to the nyc boutique not so long ago and was very underwhelmed by the pieces and shocked by the prices and quality. One diamond piece has si1 stones which I found disappointing. Did not purchase anything

I love some of the designs but, apart from one chain necklace I continue to own (Madison in yellow gold), I haven’t been impressed with the quality. I bought a preowned pearl and diamond cable cuff in gold last year - worth £4k+ originally - which I sold on within weeks as it was so lightweight, it felt like something you would get in a Christmas cracker. Absolutely 100% authentic too (I sold it on to a jeweller), I was so disappointed.

I was thinking of buying this bracelet:

I am now thinking I won't after looking at pre-owned for sale on ebay. I do that not so I can buy it through there at a discount, but I like to see how they wear over time. On every single listing the "18k" heart looks tarnished which makes me think it's plated and not solid. The official description says "Sterling silver with 18-karat yellow gold." So is that a sneaky way of saying plated or similar as opposed to a solid gold heart? Solid gold never tarnishes.

I tried to find the country of origin on their website and couldn't find one, but where it's listed on Bloomingdale's or Saks, can't remember the exact one, it says "imported."

I'm really disappointed because I was loving the bracelet otherwise!

Came back to add that they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I wouldn't either, and it seems so pretty, too!

To be fair, the BBB rating I found for them through a quick Google search has only 5 ratings and seems to be for one store in particular.

That said, the last time I brought DY from their boutique over 10 yrs ago, the gold and silver pieces seem to be plated gold. And the cuff I ended up buying has a loose stone I can hear rattling when I wear it. I'll stick with what I have, unless I see something second hand that I know wasn't plated.

Gold does tarnish. You just need to clean it with a polishing cloth
Actually solid gold never tarnishes and a polishing cloth wouldn't help gold plating. I was referring to the wearing away of the gold if it is not solid but a gold layer over silver. The description on the website does not specify if the gold heart is solid. The fact that pieces that have been worn over time show fading of the gold leads me to believe it's a form of plating. I don't plan to shower with mine so I am hoping it lasts.
